    It's Just More Entertaining

You know, after all this time, I'd still rather watch Countess Coloratura sing "The Spectacle" than see Rara perform "The Magic Inside". It's a matter of taste, of course, but to me, the songs and the performance of "The Spectacle" is just off-the-charts more entertaining. I'd much rather see that concert.

    Fimfiction's Autumn

So Seattle's Angels and The Royal Canterlot Library both shut down this week. I confess that I find that to be pretty sad. I had my share of success on this site, but most of my attention came from critics. I really appreciate the time that they took to review my stories and everyone else's who would normally fly under the radar. It meant the world to me, even when the review itself wasn't

    Mystery Figure

Okay, so my friend sent this image to me, and I swear I know who that winged figure is in the back, but I just can't come up with a name. Anyone know who the weird demonic creature is? I swear he's related to Grogar somehow.

Hopefully this link works. I'm too lazy to find my login credentials for Photobucket.

    The image in question.

    Hindsight Hilarity

Been a minute since I've been here, and I decided to read my last for blog posts to see what was going when I was around last.

The second most recent post was written on New Year's Eve 2019 where I spoke about how eager I was for 2020 and how much hope I had that it would be a better year.

    The Newer, Angrier Fimfiction

I'm not around much anymore, so I'm not hip to the latest trends. I dip in every so often to check messages, and about once a week I look at my notifications.

"It's just Juggernaught"con, Day Two · 6:38am Apr 20th, 2014

I don't even know why I'm writing this now. I'm so friggin' tired.

I bought some Grenadder art and a Pinkie Pie pint glass for my wife. Hung out with Statoose some more and saw some interesting panels.

The main meat of the day was a fanfic author get together in Xepher's room. Got to meet Pen Stroke, Totallynotabrony, Bradel, Law Abiding Pony, Bronywriter, Horizon, Ocalhoun, Benman, Andrew Joshua Talon, Ebon Mane, electreXcessive. And I got to briefly look at Regidar. He came in right as I was leaving, and he was gone when I came back. Super Trampoline and Leonzilla were there, but I'd met them the day before.

Anyway, drinks were had and BS talked about. Also, a story that probably shouldn't see the light of day was started. It seemed… unstructured. And vaguely sinister.

I'd love to go into more detail here, but I'm fighting to stay awake. Bradel passed on a hello from Bookplayer, so I appreciate that, Book. Maybe I'll meet you one day.

Oh, and I got to see and listen to all the writers and VAs from the show, but what's that compared to fanfic kvetching with such a talented group?

Sorry about prying you away from Regidar with my poor timing. :rainbowwild::twilightblush:

For an unscheduled, last minute gathering, we did pretty good, eh? I mean, that's what I love about these cons. Screw the actual "show talent" I'll take a group of slightly drunk fan authors any day. :derpytongue2:

That's so cool! I wish I could go to BABScon and meet popular authors.:pinkiesick::flutterrage:

Dammit, I've got to stop reading these updates from people at BABScon; the jealousy is becoming overwhelming.

2027130 Oh, it was fine. It was actually kind of nice to get away and walk for a while. That room was kind of hot.

2027345 Honestly, that was the highlight of the con for me. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and talking shop. The panels are fun, but I'll take an author meet-up any ol' time over them.

2027467 It was really fun. I'm lucky that a HUGE con has appeared very close to where I love. I've been in the same pining position you are in the past when I think of Everfree NW and Bronycon. They are so far away...

2027524 After the implosion of Las Pegasus, I had reservations about this event. They've really done a great job with it, though. There have been some hiccups, but everything of this size will have them. Overall, it's been a really good time, but that author meet-up was probably the best thing. I really enjoyed talking with everyone.

None of that probably helped you any, did it? :ajsleepy:
