I finally figured out how that darned placket piece was supposed to go! Tomorrow is going to be crazy busy, but at least the only structural thing on my costume that needs to be done is the waistband (oh, and the closures. There's that. Please do not let me forget to take hooks and eyes). Then comes the excitement of trying to figure out if it all even fits in my bag, but if all goes right, I will have a very nice Miss Cherry Jubilee costume ready to go! And yes, I busted my hump on this thing. It's an ivory saloon girl/dance hall girl dress with a red bustle and (hopefully) a bunch of cherries as a cutie mark and (hopefully) the headdress, which will (hopefully) fit over the red wig. But hey! Everyone who makes costumes usually brings a bunch of stuff along to do.
Friday is Equestria Girls Trixie. It's comfortable enough to wear around the house. No kidding.
Also, just in case I'm bored, I'm bringing along the notes for Equestria Girls: The Looking Glass World of Cheese and Pie. If I burn out on party stuff (I know, right?) I'll have something else to do.
If you faved or watched me in the last couple of days, first of all, thank you! And also, if I didn't get right back to you, I am so sorry. Once upon a time, comments and faves were on your page for about a week, but now they all clear in less than forty eight hours and I don't always hit that window in time. I'm really thrilled with the reception it's getting and the number of people who are willing to give something with "Equestria Girls" in the title a chance.
Well, now I'm upset I'm not going. It'd be super cool to see you. Oh, well - I hope you have fun!
You should find a saloon girl Pinkie and sing the Sharing is Caring song together.
But whoo! I'm sure it'll be awesome fun. And yesssss... Notes for downtime, if you feel up to it.
