You know that thing when you've been working on something and you just finished it? And then you read it and realize that it's thematically inappropriate, or oddly paced, or just plain bad? And then you realize you have to re-do about a week's worth of work? And then you are interrupted by the appearance of a young child that can only speak Russian, but they have the most unusual blue eyes, and a

    A bold new direction!

    I have good news, everyone!

Due to recent events, I've come to realize that sustaining my current pace of work is simply not going to happen. In between my busy schedule of work, video games, crying in my shower, and training to beat the record for most packets of instant oatmeal cooked in a day, I'm simply swamped.

Chapter release and a call for translators! · 8:37pm Apr 15th, 2014

Good evening!

My apologies for the delay of the next chapter, which was scheduled to be released Monday morning but was delayed due to a necessary re-write. Also the fact that it was hot as balls. The forecast for my area is snow tonight, though, so I hold out hope that I can make some headway on the chapter. You non frost-giant types, I don't know how you deal with temperatures over 65 degrees Farenheight at all.

I am also looking for translators! I will need one who can translate conversations into Italian, as mine is INCREDIBLY rusty, and another with at least a passing knowledge of Latin, as I have yet to learn that Most Noble of languages. I've got one for French lined up, and both European and American Spanish are right out. If you know either Italian or Latin, send a PM along!

(Note; please do NOT send the note in Italian or Latin. Use English, or your application will be shunned, and I will call down an ice-doom upon your fields and flocks. Tempt not the frost giants, you smart ass.)

Remember that Desert Bluffs cannot do anything right, and expect the new chapter soon!

Um, I now Fluent Brazilian portuguese? But that isn't really relevant so...

Weakling. In my domain, the day can become as hot as 110+ degrees Fahrenheit during the summer.

Life is suffering indeed.

Shit, dood. I start putting on sweaters when the temperature drops to 70. You can keep all that snow and ice......

Are these translations for in-story speaking? Or do you wish to expand your audience?

Also, I deal with the heat like all good people: strip naked.

Also, welcome to Night Vale.

Most people think in crazy for loving 60-degree temperatures... Of course, I live in the one place in the US that wasn't frozen solid this year.

I could do some translation for you no problem, at least on the "English to Italian" front, it sure beats translating Psychology papers for my housemate :pinkiecrazy:
Qualification: I'm Italian. :moustache:

EDIT: and I'm also an idiot, I'll now send a proper PM as you asked :facehoof:

I'm with you on the weather. We had nice, balmy upper 50s to mid 70s weather for around a week and today we got torrential rain followed by 2-3 inches of snow and lows in the 20s. Basically, Warm -> Unseasonably Warm -> Bit Cold for April + Snow.
