    It's Just More Entertaining

You know, after all this time, I'd still rather watch Countess Coloratura sing "The Spectacle" than see Rara perform "The Magic Inside". It's a matter of taste, of course, but to me, the songs and the performance of "The Spectacle" is just off-the-charts more entertaining. I'd much rather see that concert.

    Fimfiction's Autumn

So Seattle's Angels and The Royal Canterlot Library both shut down this week. I confess that I find that to be pretty sad. I had my share of success on this site, but most of my attention came from critics. I really appreciate the time that they took to review my stories and everyone else's who would normally fly under the radar. It meant the world to me, even when the review itself wasn't

    Mystery Figure

Okay, so my friend sent this image to me, and I swear I know who that winged figure is in the back, but I just can't come up with a name. Anyone know who the weird demonic creature is? I swear he's related to Grogar somehow.

Hopefully this link works. I'm too lazy to find my login credentials for Photobucket.

    The image in question.

    Hindsight Hilarity

Been a minute since I've been here, and I decided to read my last for blog posts to see what was going when I was around last.

The second most recent post was written on New Year's Eve 2019 where I spoke about how eager I was for 2020 and how much hope I had that it would be a better year.

    The Newer, Angrier Fimfiction

I'm not around much anymore, so I'm not hip to the latest trends. I dip in every so often to check messages, and about once a week I look at my notifications.

More Readings · 1:05am Apr 14th, 2014

I got a PM today from some group called The Living Library Society telling me that they've done a reading for A Door Jam. Going to their site, it looks like they done readings for several of my stories. I guess they just didn't let me know before. Well, if you prefer to listen to, rather than read, my stuff, here are some links.

I haven't listened to this stuff yet, so sorry if it's bad. I'm wife is playing Civ IV right next to me and I don't feel like fighting for who's computer can be louder.

Oh, and they call me "Ex Juggernaught Ex", which irritates me, but what can you do? I'm the one with the stupid name. It's not their fault.

A Door Jam

Easy As Pie

Awaken, Scootaloo

They also have a reading for Diary of a Silent Tyrant, but it's weird. You have to click on the name and it loads at this box at the top of the page. And my name is misspelled next to the story. These guys hate my name.

In their defense, look at your name.

2008057 That's what I'm saying. While I don't like my name mispronounced, I don't blame them at all. It's really my fault for having a dumb spelling for my name.

So wait, how are you supposed to pronounce it, then? :rainbowhuh:

2008156 It's just "Juggernaut." And yes, I know it's confusing. I never blame anyone for getting it wrong.

The best part is, if you ever retire the handle, you'll be ex-xjuggernaughtx!

"Ex Juggernaught Ex"
What un-freaking-professionals. Shameful, just shameful. :rainbowwild:

Listening to the first couple minutes, it sounds somewhat meh. They've got a male reader doing the narration and a female reader doing the voices. The woman's not too bad; the man isn't a poor reader, per-se, but he speaks rather quickly and has a tendency to slur words, and even stumble. (And not cutting out stumbles is a really big thing, in my opinion.) Overall it could do with a heck of a lot more polish.

2009178 That is not implication. That is solid fact.

2008361 Or I could start writing clop and be... xxxjuggernaughtx

2008562 I don't listen to a lot of readers, but I'm always kind of baffled when it sounds like they don't do any editing. I mean, would it really be that tough to stop, go back, re-read where you messed up, then delete the error and splice on the better reading? I've done some editing for music production and it would be quite easy to do that.

2009208 I absolutely agree. If you're going to do a reading, at least cut out the stutters, or frankly you're just pathetic.

I really should do a reading of one of your fics at some point, just so there's a good one out there. Maybe The Carrot-Dog Fight, since it's short, and doing the birds' voices would be a blast. I'd just have to get my partner into it, since I can't do Spike to save my life...

2008164 I've been getting it wrong this whole time!

Though I know it's not pro quality, I still enjoyed listening to 'em. Much easier while I'm at work. :rainbowkiss:

Is babscon the east coast one this weekend? I was tempted to day trip that.

2017429 If by "east coast", you mean the east coast of the Pacific Ocean, then yes. Come on over!

2017440 That Pennsylvania-California trip is a quick two thousand miles. You'll be here in no time!
