I've known Xepher:
For over ten years now. I mean, yes, we've never met, never spoken on the telephone, and only exchanged a few e-mails in that time, but he's hosted my two webcomics, Terebinth and Daily Grind, for free on his xepher.net server since 2003. I may, in fact, have been the person who first planted the Pony seed in his brain when I posted this "Ponies Doing Spike Jones" video to the xepher.net Forum way back in May of 2011.
Be that as it may, Xepher is now firmly ensconced in the fandom both as an author--he describes his stories as "high-wire fiction without a net," and once you dive into his "Three Wishes" series, you'll see what he means--and as a staff member of the upcoming Everfree Northwest convention. He's involved with their writing track, and he's just started a series of Fanfiction spotlights. He'll be posting about various of his favorite Ponyfics every Thursday till the convention, and he was kind enough to include my novella Calling You in his first group.

Thanks Augie... and yeah, hard to believe it's been so long. Also weird how I already knew several other people in this fandom from the same ancient sources as I knew Augie. The internet is a huge place, yet some days it feels closer than my next door neighbors in a small town. Bump into people I know everywhere.

Back when I first picked out that pseudonym, the entire purpose was to go with something that returned exactly zero results when typed into both that new upstart, "Google" and the juggernaut known as Alta Vista. Scary to think that I've been running a website now for nearly half my life, and it's almost as old as Google itself.
2002792 I asked Augie to pre-read on the initial Three Wishes story, so yeah... probably heard about me from him. Glad you weren't disappointed in following his suggestions though.
2002665 Heheh, yeah... one of many, many things that finally dragged me into pony. I was basically hit from all sides considering the webcomic and /b/ circles I hung out in online. Finally gave in, and never looked back.
