Time to announce something fun to kick off the weekend! That's right, it's time for the final giveaway drawing! Now, unfortunately the prize being given away hasn't been released yet (my editor swears I'll be getting the edited draft back next week, although I did get the final cover in my inbox this morning), so it may be another week or two before this prize actually shows in our winner's inbox, but we're going to draw for it anyway!
Today's prize is, of course, a first-day copy of Dead Silver, my soon-to-be-released novel. The sequel to One Drink, Dead Silver follows the path of Hawke Decroux from the first book, a French-Canadian Shaman from Vermont who runs a humane pest control business and is more than content to spend his days taking care of his garden and reading paperback books on his porch. Of course, when Jacob Rocke invites him to come to New Mexico for a chance at catching the legendary chupacabra, it looks like a chance for a relaxed vacation in the sun, and Hawke sets out to meet up with Rocke and try his hand at catching the unusual creature. But when Rocke turns up missing and the chupacabra seems to have an appetite for more than just goats, things start getting messy. Just how wrong can a vacation go?
