    Do not adjust your sets

Hey all, sorry but this isn't Rust.

This is Handyman speaking, for those of you who don't know, I'm that guy who writes that fic with that other guy who does the things. Those of you who aren't laughing at the fact I now have an account with a batpony avatar, you have no soul and your first born child will be ginger.

A Wild Uncertainty Appears · 12:26am Apr 8th, 2014

"Wow, it's going really fast, too!"

Billy, what the fuck are you --- OH SHIT SHIT SHIT ITS EDUCATION!!!

This is FIMfiction's resident Best Bat (decided as of yesterday, you missed the poll. I was there, I voted) coming to you live from my nifty little barracks closet, bringing you all the latest in action, debauchery, and slutty explosiveness found in my stories. This just in --- Rusty's about to get tied to the radiator in the basement and graped in the mouth.

That's right, folks. Nuclear Power School is arriving in the next two weeks. It's one of the toughest training schools in the US military. Over the next six months, I will be educated in the art of operating the atomic hearts that beat at the center of America's aircraft carriers and submarines. I am going to be a mechanic for an engine literally four stories tall. (lol surface ftw swords n wings)

Understandably, it's gonna suck ass. I'll try to get as much out as I possibly can when there's free time, but I probably won't have much free time. Had to fight tooth and nail to get through the first part of the schooling, no sense expecting this half to be any different.

That said, for the next six months, expect nothing from me besides the occasional blog post. Maybe, if we're lucky, I'll give you guys some chapters. Maybe even another one-shot. I know I said the clop thing was a one time deal, but shit, it did so well, makes me want to try it again. Dunno. We'll see.

Adora-sexy bat author out.

Please come back glowing in the dark.

Stay sexy, bat-boy.:raritywink:

Go out and kick ass, dude! :ajsmug:

Alternatively: Come back with radioactive mutant superpowers.

Good luck, man. I almost ended up going to Nuke school when I enlisted. However, since I failed the color blindness tests, I was disqualified and ended up being a CTR. Looking back, I've never been more glad that my eyes can't always tell colors apart...

Well crud, by the time you get back I'll be headed off for training... Guess I won't be reading any updates from you for a while.

It's actually something of an urban legend that nukes glow in the dark.... or that our pee does, or that we've soaked up so much radiation that we set off alarms in airports, or that when we get angered we turn green and really strong, and other fairy tales.

However, we do play the best pranks on the ship.

Try not to make anything explode, unless doing so is properly awesome.

1990154 You know that the nuclear reactors that you'll be working on is so heavily shielded that you can theoretically drink the water used in them and not have any ill effects other than a need to piss. (ultra-pure water passes through your system quickly)

1990169
I know that.

Everyone else in the Navy... not so much. Nukes are treated like a strange mix of a trained monkey and a criminal mastermind. They need us... but they don't understand why.

1990183 Make us proud man!--we'll patiently wait for your return.:ajsmug::rainbowdetermined2::raritywink::pinkiesmile::fluttershysad:

"You know that one guy? Yeah, the nuke tech whose sworn duty it is to keep us from loosing power and possibly suffocating, drowning, and/or freezing to death. He writes internet novels about magical candy-colored horses."

I still sometimes wonder why mankind can walk so calmly under the sun and yet tread so lightly near something so similar when it's right next to them. That little ring of nearly pure Pu-239 is one of only a few components necessary to power half of Chicago and yet people will only ever see it for the destruction it can hold. Sometimes I wonder if in our blindness that's all mankind really deserves.

Do what you can to have fun in school man...now we play the waiting game:raritywink:

Good luck mate. Oh, do you have facebook? I can't remember if I've invited you to the military brony facebook group yet.

Well rust good luck with the military.
And dont stress yourself over making chapters and blog posts.
Best of wishes to you.

1990154 I'm sorry, but has no one noticed the part about "the best pranks?" You are are/going to be a nuclear tech. What kind of pranks do you play? :rainbowderp: You have to elaborate! Please.

Best bat award?:trixieshiftright:

Wanna bet?

Holy shit, are you serious? (Sorry I'm seven weeks late to this blog) Nuke school? I just graduated from high school and am already enlisted. Me and a few other friends are all going to boot camp in august, and we're all going in as nukes. Dude, I don't know what to say other than awesome.

No way, Jose! Drop me a PM and I can fill ya in on anything you want to know about boot camp and what it's like here at Nuke School.
