[Reversal of Fortune] Editing. · 7:20am Apr 7th, 2014
Just as the name implies, I'm editing through Reversal of Fortune. There's a lot of major and minor fixes going on here, so make sure you check tomorrow morning to see what changed. I'll give you a list of what I'm planning to alter.
Chapter 1: New World "Blues"
-Overhaul on VATS interface: now 20% more OP!
-Implied Celestia flew a really, really long distance for several hours. Y'all need to lay off her.
Chapter 2: Their Kind of Town
-Changed name to "Unusual!"
-Altered Ryan's phobia of water to be not so severe.
-Vastly change the "Meet the Town!" dialogue sequence. A lot of you have pointed out issues with it.
-Make Ryan not contradict his personality.
-Add in several bits and pieces in Ryan and Celestia's dialogue relating to cultural differences. That was also an issue that was raised.
That's it for this overhaul-ish update. When I'm done with this, I'll truly get to work on the next chapter. It's been bit busy, now that I have two large, demanding fics, plus two collabs at the same time. Bear with me, because updates will come.
Oh, and as a side note, when I ask for your opinions on something, I actually want to see them. I mean, there's, what, 400 of you getting my blog posts? Remember that one on April 1st? The one where I said it wasn't an April Fools' joke? Where I said that I might submit this to Equestria Daily? Yeah. That one. I'm looking for some feedback here on where you think the story is now, and if it'll hold up to the onslaught of EQD critics?
So would some of you take a minute to write a short comment on your opinion of the fic so far? Or at least take 20 seconds to put a "yes" or "no" for EQD? Please?
