Next chapter's first draft is done. · 8:49pm Apr 3rd, 2014

A bit later than I intended (after like a year of putting this story off, I was quite rusty).

However, I got it done. More so, that the next chapter is growing so large, I'm going to have to break it in half again. Otherwise it'd be like ... over 10,000 words. Which means that the first draft is done for the next chapter. I may pursue getting the first draft of the next chapter done too before I go back to revise. I'll let my muse decide that. Besides, I'm sure you'd enjoy a chapter release just one week apart rather than a year.

What''d'ya'say?

hi hi

I'm sure that it'll be amazing either way. :)

I am all ready for a full re-read when the new chapter releases.

I say yay!

While I'm personally a fan of long chapters, I must agree that two chapters separated by a week is much preferred to the alternative. Here's to hoping the return of Paradise is able to last a few more than two chapters before the next year-long hiatus.

Most agreeable news, Sly!

Yay! Totally worth checking back in to Fimfiction for the first time in months :yay:

As much as I'm dying to know what happens next, I personally always prefered longer chapters, because I usually read off my smartphone, and preloading a single page is more convenient, then preloading a huge number of smaller ones (or just two, as the case may be).

'SlyWit' took me some time to realize where I recognized this name from. Glad to hear you're not dead and neither is the story :)

Well, I'm certainly not looking to do an 1000 word chapter any time soon. From my understanding, even a 4000 has a nice bit of beef (takes about a half hour to read for slightly below average reading rates like mine). 8000 then would be an hour, and an upper limit for a chapter length, and 10,000 is kind of what-the-heck-are-you-doing. It's too much commitment for most readers, I assume.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes...

Yes. :twilightblush:

I fear no word count! I have read stories with individual chapters featuring 34,653 words... Bring it on!

This is a picture of my expression outside that author's window.

I say yes. I like this idea.

First the ReHamorized ponies series on youtube comes back and now Paradise does?

Christmas has come early this year!
