Removed "Friends" (Rating: Teen) · 10:34am Apr 3rd, 2014
Since my Steam account is still logged in on the site (sadly, I can't change my password there. Thanks, Valve) and I can still mess with some things, I decided to remove 98% of my friend's list, leaving only personal friends or people who I know and trust and talk to a lot.
When I get my account back, if I get my account back, I will not be adding anyone else on my Steam's friend's list unless I have you on Skype and we're more than just "buddies." I will also not respond to steam chats (except for one or two people) at all and if you wish to speak to me, send me a Skype message or a PM on this site. As an added precaution for my stupidity, I will most likely stop any and all trade requests that are sent to me. I will send the requests and I will handle the trades. I'll probably stop trading quite soon.
I shouldn't really have to deal with this kind of thing. I made a mistake, but, Jesus Christ, I want to enjoy a game and put sentimental value in silly digital hats. This is complete and utter shit that anyone has to go through this process. Luckily, Valve has banned my account from community interaction + trading + marketing, so, my account is useless to the hacker now. But I still lost a huge list of items that Valve will probably be unable to give back. I'll post the list below. Some of these items had over 6000 kills on them, while others were recent purchases or renamed because I like being an idiot and giving my guns stupid names. Some items, like my Invisa-Watch was a recent purchase worth 5 keys, so, you can see why I'm pretty pissed off here. Anyways, here's the list. I'll talk later:
All weapons are "strange" quality:
Liberty Launcher
Diamondback
Dead Ringer
Invis Watch
Spycicle
Blutsauger
Grenade Launcher
Black Box
Shotgun
Directy hit
Name Tag
Sniper Rifle
Pistol
Scattergun
Baseball bat
6 Tour of Duty Tickets
6 Squad Surplus Vouchers
Silver Botkiller Wrecnh mk.II
Hope you recover from this incident
It's definitely sad when something like this happens, but it's one of the reasons I don't play hat fortress or dota (at least not anymore). Too many people randomly adding you for things, can't trust any of them.
If I can get online banking working properly, I'll buy you some stuff.
And now I have a good reason to go get rid of all the people that added me and tried to roleplay with me before I changed my Steam name.
Unfortunate that something like this had to screw up the game for you.
I know the feel of having your account hacked happend to me three times (boy was it fun trying to get it back) but it should be done quick.
Also sorry for the loss of your items I have a stupid amount of both tickets if you want them I think I also have a couple stranges on the list to if you want them also.

I appreciate it. Still nothing from Steam, sadly.
1979339 I could be wrong here, but I think Valve DOES refund atleast some of your items if you happened to get scammed.
Though I wouldn't go asking them this, I could easily be wrong about it, I've just heard rumors.

They returned all the stolen items to me. I saw them reappear in my inventory.
I'm just waiting for the account to be returned to me, now.
