Hello everyone and welcome to the Fantasia Reviews Series where each blog will have a story that would reviewed by me and also recommended for other readers to watch. Hopefully, I would be able to make this last for a long while and it helps me to loosen up a bit from my boring days. Anyhow, onto the review. 
I will start off by saying that the description given for the story really got me interested as into what the author meant about when wishing on stars, and the wishes becoming true. I had to know especially after I read that the family was breaking apart, so on a whole the description really got me into wanting to know more about the story, and I began to read.
I liked how the story started on the situation. I think it has been presented really well and it had me hooked on to every word. I definitely like how the sad atmosphere progressed nicely towards the middle of the story. When I write stories I would tend to speed most parts and sometimes all parts of the story which is why I find the progress of the story to be well paced.
Now the exchange in dialogue between Dinky and Sparkler I liked the most. It was really well done and had me in the situation like I was actually there. And they didn’t feel out of character. If felt like that is actually what they would’ve set if they were in the show unlike a few of my works and a few others I have read in the past where the characters would say something, but you know they would not say that at all in the show or they might, but it sounds unreal.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s cool seeing our canon characters at differently but you have to make what they’re saying believable which is what why I say the dialogue in this story is great.
At the middle of the story, which is the the saddest point, was greatly written. I’m a guy, and I don’t really think of almost shedding tears or do I even come close to shedding a tear for a sad story. So I when I say it was written good it was really written good. I actually felt very sorry for both the characters. Especially when Dinky made her honest wish to Princess Luna of making everything right. I really felt it. Again, greatly written.
The ending was also written good, but in my opinion with Derpy’s nature of crashing into things I don’t think there will be an end to the consequences of breaking things with her. It will just happen one way or another. But hey, that’s just me talking. I really think you all should have a read at the fic. It was a great read for one shot.
