An Excerpt from Letters From a Friend's Sequel · 7:51pm Apr 1st, 2014
So, given that Letters' end is drawing nigh, I've started to work on the sequel a bit. You guys have been great to keep up with it so long, so I want to give something back. What follows is a short excerpt from the planned sequel: "Unread Letters From a Friend at the End of the World". It comes late in the story, probably about 3/4ths in, and shortly after Twilight finally meets up with Trixie.
The wind blew through Trixie's mane as she stared out over the vast, expansive mountain range before her. The sun was low in the sky, almost about to set, its beams streaming through the clouds and casting themselves across Trixie's face and body, and her tattered cloak. She sucked in her breath, tasting the sharp mountain air on her tongue.
"Do you think you snuck up behind me?" she said, not turning around.
Twilight, having just pulled herself to the top of the mountain, and now standing behind Trixie, her eyes harsh and her mouth a thin line. "No."
Trixie turned around, an expressionless look on her face. "I see you managed to catch up to me," she said.
"It wasn't easy."
A small smile managed to snake its way onto Trixie's face. "No, I imagine not."
Twilight took a step forward, stomping her hoof down. "Why did you run away?"
"Because I knew you'd follow me."
"I don't understand," said Twilight, shaking her head.
"Don't you, though?" Trixie turned back away from Twilight. She watched as the sun sunk lower and lower. "I have something to tell you, Twilight." She turned back around. "Twilight..."
Twilight took another step forward. "Yes?"
"I am your father."
Twilight gasped. "No... No!"
Trixie shook her hoof at Twilight. "Search your feelings! You know it to be true."
Twilight stumbled backwards, shaking her head vigorously. "No! That's impossible! I mean literally. You're the same age as me."
Trixie threw her cape over her shoulder and unsheathed her lightsaber. As the laser sword whirred to life, its red beam growing in length like a plasma erection, she said, "I should probably mention I'm also from the future. That's kind of important to the plot."
Pulling out her own lightsaber, a bright purple laser-dick, Twilight said, "Yeah, you probably should've lead with that."
[What follows is a lightsaber fight in the style of Episode III that I didn't have the time or inclination to write right now]
So yeah, that's what I've got so far. Hope you guys like it. There's plenty more where that came from!
Like the good Captain would say...
"Make it so"
and then he pulls out his laserdick and joins the fray Darth Maul style.
Hells. Yes.

lightsaber horsecock.....this must be drawn
You know, just because something's longer than it's wide doesn't automatically make it a phallic symbol. Otherwise nature sure would be obsessed with penises. Mind you, now that I'm thinking about it if lightsabers were stabbing swords... well, that'd probably be too much to dismiss.
Ah well, it was still funny.
The first few paragraphs were giving me chills!
Then you whipped out the Sun Battles references.
After that, it was the most exciting thing imaginable! I cannot WAIT for this!! It was getting a little hard to swallow when Trixie said she was Twi's pappy, but having her come from the future, and therefor being younger than Twi when she gave birth to her, explained everything
Will there be a Snugglemuffer invasion?
