Addressing Signatures · 4:12pm Apr 1st, 2014
Hey Wunderfolk, I'm Skeeter The Lurker. This is an important detail, and you should write it down for future reference.
For a long time now, I've addressed everything I create in this wonderful world wide web with my signature. I do this because it's who I am. Simple as that. It's how it has always been and how, until today, I planned it to be forever.
But today, a straw has broken the camel's back. Quite frankly, I'm getting rather tired of having people ask me why I put my signature on everything--and to a lesser extent, frustrated that I have no good answer for them. I just do. I never wanted to come off as a narcissist, but I fear that's what this whole signature-debacle has branded me. It's simply become too much of a hastle to try and explain something that has no explaination. The asker is left unsatisfied, and the askee is left in self-doubt.
So I shall capitulate. From now on, I shall cese putting my signature on all my stuff. Hopefully this will put an end to all the questions so people will be able to focus on the real reasons we're here.
