Here's Your Next Hint for "Seven Days in Sunny June" · 7:24pm Mar 30th, 2014

(yes, I know it's a music video. There's some hints in the lyrics.)
Oh, and if I get 100 comments in this post by tonight, tomorrow, the next day I'll post an actual preview!
Why did you choose a remix video? Do you prefer it to the 7" mix, or could you not find that version? And why am I still using an archaic term like 7" mix?
1966940
Because there's no official video of Jay Kay dancing around like a lunatic and the concert video version would make you all sit through a VEVO commercial.
(and you can find 7" mixes still, believe it or not. There's a coffee shop/record store about a half-mile from my place that still sells 45s and they're all remixes.)
this looks interesting
If this involves Sunset adjusting to human life in EQG, will it involve both the prequel comics?
1966999
You do not have faith in your fellow brony to come up with a 100 comments full of bizarre guesses?
1967177
Funny thing you should mention that: without having read the prequel comic, I somehow managed to almost perfectly duplicate a scene from it.
1967246 This guy had some good points for the whole situation, stuff most of us probably glanced over.
Think in a more realistic perspective: Sunset has just arrived into the human world. The first thing she notes is her new, alien body. The second, she doesn´t have magic. The third, she is alone, lost, without home, resorces or even a basic understanding of this new environment.
What does she do? how does she satisfy her basic needs? can she find someone to rely on, and how much can she tell him/her without looking crazy?
Is not hard to me to picture Sunset doing rather...desesperate, unsavory things in order to survive. No wonder that, for when Twilight meets her, she has become a cold, heartless individual who hides her inner pain under the mask of the Alpha Bitch.

You wanted your '100 comments', you got 'em.
1967253
You sure? I only count ten...eleven counting this post
1967325
Three of which are mine.
1967339
Four now.
1967343
To the rescue. Rise, comment count. Rise!
Looking forward to reading this story. I like the idea behind it and your other work is awesome too.
1967325 The joke is that Shinkazura wanted '100 comments'. In a previous comment of mine, I typed '100 comments', thus "meeting" the set requirement.
I'll be nice and let this just run to 100
I want previews! Don't make me make a load of useless comments!
1968026
And yours makes 18. We're nearly 20% of the way there!
1968033
But when is the cutoff time? Wookie may not be able to make comments fast enough
1968080
Then he and PlaceHolder need to start moving fastar!
Comment.
Well there's one more.

How about we speculate on future storylines?
Or if you don't have much interest in games, I am willing to concede to a philosophical discussion on the meaning of life, so long as you scratch me behind the ears.
(Quote from "Neverwinter Nights" if a Druid character wants to play with her Dire Wolf companion.)
Why is noone commenting on my offer? Why
If this continues, I won't even be able to make but one measly comment.
*checks breath*
Nope, still as fresh as ever. I put a lot of effort in mental hygiene, and dental as well, so why am I so alone?
Maybe a European story will help? I remember reading this one when I was a kid.
Tijl was hungry. All he had left was a piece of bread. The enticing scent of meat drifted from a nearby stall, but alas, he lacked the money.
Knowing that he was getting well known in this city, he decided not to steal or scam, but simply stood next to the stall.
This way, he could eat his bread, while drinking in the aroma of the meat, and so savor both. The vendor did not like this. "If you are enjoying my meat, you bum, then you must pay for it. If not, I'll call the guard over there."
Tijl, ever resourceful, took out one of his last coins, and let it fall on the counter with a deft ringing. Before the greedy man could grab it, Tijl took it back. The guard came over to investigate the commotion, but Tijl answered:"If I have to feed myself with the scent of your meat, then I pay with the sound of my coin."And the guard judged him right.

Aha, bombs are gonna fall...from the summer sun...whenever people laugh.
This in turn will make them stop being happy and Harmony dies.
See, I figured it all out.
1968610
So you're saying we've got a Pagliacci with weapons?
1968692
Pagliacci, isn't that a satire on Greek Theater, where the main actor swears on stage that he will break tradition and kill the unfaithful wife?
Me, I was toying with the idea of putting a subliminal message in Celestia's sun. It radiates love and peace, man.
*edit* I know a pagliacci is a comedian / clown

One more attempt before I start working again:
Our (American) girl must stay for she can heal the fissures between them. Her Generosity spawned powers allows her to broadcast her emotions--or read them so she can be Generous and fulfill them?
1968610
Damnit, he figured it out! I guess he's earned a small preview;

And suddenly you gave me so much more.
Is this going to be a new story line or AAG side story?
1968900
Entirely new thing.
1968769
Oh, wait, sorry, that was before Shin decided to totally rewrite the entire thing. It's ok, though, since it's going up today.
You know this might make things interesting. DJ/Sandalwood was a foal when she was sent to earth. Now we see how an adult pony (how old is Sunset when she went through the mirrorgate?) might react to being an entirely new species.
1973441
Well, Lyra does react to becoming human for the first time in 'Broken Heartstrings' and in two of the sidestories, we have guys turning into stallions temporarily.
1973553 Yeah, but not in the context of knowing anything about the other species. Does sunset even know what humans were/are capable of before she went through for the first time? Hell, if the first time she ever went through the portal was at the end of the prequel comic, how long did it take her to get used to the place? Did she know it would re-open later?
Hell, there's a full playlist of issues with the movie here that moved it from so bad it's good to so okay, it's average for me.
1973612
In the prequel comic, she confidently strides out of the mirror in human form in the last panel. She also most likely knew about that mirror's time restriction, since she knew exactly when it would re-open for her.
Of course, in retrospect, the use of the AAG sidestories doesn't apply since in the AAG-verse, Sunset's never been to the human world and Equestria Girls didn't happen.
But so many things just don't make sense. Say there was an accident, with Sunset being hit by a car. How is she going to pay for her bills? Where was she staying to begin with? Wouldn't the school board wonder about her guardians or lack there-of? And with the bullying she did, not one of her victims went "fuck it" and decided that fighting back would be worth the punishment? For all we know, she could have secretly been a drug dealer as well in order to get the money for her stuff.
What happened to human Sunset? It's implied that there's a human Twilight in the EQG world that we don't see, so should't there also be a human Sunset?
And I'm sorry, but this image is how Vice-Principal LUna should look like.
derpicdn.net/img/2013/11/3/463301/large.png
1973785
But it hasn't been said if Sunset's even in the human world in this story.
Where did Sunset come from? Who were her parents? How'd she get into Celestia's school? Was she always power hungry, or did it come after time?
THose are questions which could be answered should it take place before she went through the mirror.
1974050
Well, preview is up, so now you can get your answers.
