...but it turns out that Spring Break is really distracting, and I haven't managed to put my thoughts together as much as I'd like on that particular topic just yet. Don't worry, it'll probably be coming soon. I actually think it'll be rather good.
Anyway, I'm putting up this post more to let you know that, Spring Break or no, I haven't been completely idle. I stumbled into a rather fun new story idea that I've been working on. It's coming along pretty nicely, and I'm hoping I'll be able to kick it out for you all to enjoy in the next few days. Early feedback has been very positive.
Oh, also! You might want to turn your GhostOfHeraclitus radar on. I hear he's got another couple chapters of "Obiter Dicta" that he's planning to publish in the near future.
Yeah, that near future plan just got nixed, I'm afraid. I can't publish on April 1st, that's always a nightmare of madness and miscommunication, and I got stuck at the 'editing' stage which means I can't publish it now.

No, it hasn't. This'll make more sense once you see it. MBatP (which I totally had to go look up because the acronym isn't stuck in my head yet) is still waiting for me to find an intro hook, though. Beyond the first two paragraphs, anyway, which are written and by most reports, apparently awesome. But every time I try to write past them, I work my way into an ugly block of expositive storytelling trying to justify the scenario.
After I get through that part, I think it'll come quite a bit more easily. But I need to get through that part, first...
