Hey guys,
Just thought I'd drop a quick update post-EQD feature to let you all know how the story is coming along.
The short version is that it's coming along slowly. School is again the main obstacle for writing, as it takes much of my motivation, energy, and time. The end is in sight, however, as we have just passed midterms and I've shed some schedule commitments which should allow me to better organize my time. Theoretically anyway.
I first posted about the upcoming chapter in January and I am making slow but steady progress on fleshing it out as I go. The outline has been complete for some time, but only now are the nuances starting to fall into place. This coming chapter touches on some more serious issues as well as the first real fight in the story, which in turn leads to one of the major plot points.
Chapter 3: Inferno. The Timberwolves are reassigned to an outpost near the Outer Rim as temporary replacements until proper reinforcements can be mustered. Firefly continues her struggle with PTSD and Thunderlane gets his first taste of real combat when an old enemy resurfaces.
I can't give a proper release date in good faith, so I will leave out specifics. I hope to get this done within the next month or so.
