(Personal update) Good news! · 4:36pm Mar 27th, 2014
I had my second ultrasound today, and the baby has all the necessary parts, is very wiggly (I could have told them that. It's kicking me like crazy.) AND...
It's a filly girl!
We weren't planning on finding out the gender, but I was so sure it was a girl that it felt silly to keep acting like it might be a boy, just in case. So, now I'm totally sure! Beatrix Marie is still the most likely name.
I'm super excited, and now my Rainbow Dash plushie will have a new friend to play with in August!

Beatrix Potter is another influence, yes. She was a pretty awesome person, too. Also, Beatrix is the name of The Bride in Kill Bill. So, it's officially an all around awesome name.

Also, did just have an idea for a blog you could do. You've talked about the nature of Mane6 relationships, but how about their children? How would the nature of a ship affect how they raise a child, and thus the personality of the child itself? Could be interesting, although probably a lot of guesswork.

Aww, that's the highest honor for a plushie. It's so sad when they only sit on shelves and collect dust, they need to be hugged and played with. (I happen to still have my teddy bear, even if he is missing his nose. He will also be called into service soon.)
