D'aw-haw-haw. I liked this story a great deal.
My second favorite plot device, after time travel, is dreams. This episode utilized the fast-paced, confusing, multilayer inner thoughts that all the best dream sequences are comprised of. It even sported a delicious bit of foreshadowing for attentive viewers. It made me feel smart, at the least, for how nicely it lines up with my own dream-based stories: Luna Loved and Blueblood's Ascension Part III; or, Even Alicorns Have Dreams.
I like that they're really solidifying Sweetie Belle's character, and growing her in way that aren't necessarily "squeaky" clean (ahyuck). The parallels drawn between Luna and Sweetie Belle were, in my opinion, very clever. It's awesome to get a inkling of what Luna has learned since her return from exile (Need more Luna/Celestia interaction!).
Cloudity is the best villain of Season 4, and nobody can convince me otherwise. Her acid rain melts gold!
Indeed, peeking into Sweetie Belle's psyche was a real treat. It was also one of the darker moments of the show, which I greatly appreciated.
I thought the parallel between Luna and Sweetie Belle was clever as well. Although one has to wonder how she deals with nightmares she doesn't personally relate to. I'm sure she's capable of it, but if you think about it, both Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle's fears tied into what made Luna transform into Nightmare Moon in some fashion.

"Face your fears, young one!"
"I'm... afraid of clowns."
"Face them!"
"Aaaahhhh!!!"
"Fill with laughter, little pony!"
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!! Not Bozo! Noooooo!"
"There, now don't you feel better?"
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
"I thought so."
