Okay guys, I need to know something and I want your opinions so please comment on this.
So, recently I wrote chapter 50 of Wandering Moon, I’ve been going ahead and writing the Equestria portions before the others recently so that I know exactly where I’m going with this story. Problem is after Chapter 50 I’d say that I’m still going to have maybe three or four Equestria chapters to go meaning that this story could get up to 65 or maybe 70 chapters before it’s done.
My question is could you, the readers, read the story for that long. I don’t want Wandering Moon to catch what I’m dubbing the Project Horizons Syndrome (Fallout Equestria spinoff that’s been going on for God knows how long) of not ending when it should have. So... in other words, I’m thinking 65 to 70 chapters is the right number, what are your thoughts on that? Would you keep reading that long or would you guys get bored and tired of the story?
As long as the stories good and still flows throughout, I would read it, and maybe re read it when i'm done
"Project Horizons Syndrome", nice, I like it.
Anyway, nah, I doubt any of us will mind as long as you keep putting the same effort into them.

Is it really? I quite when they started heading for the Enclave... I'd just stopped caring.
And thanks for the opnion
As long as the plot doesn't needlessly diddle about, you can make it as long as you want.
What is this 'This story is too long' syndrome you speak of? The only thing that'd keep me from reading a story, regardless of length, is if a friend recommends against it, or it's in a genre I don't care for.
For the record, I... may have steamrolled the original Fallout Equestria in less than one weekend. Just reinforcing the point that length isn't an issue for me.
Your chapters are nowhere near as long as PH, you could go to Chapter 100 and still not be close
Anyway, this story is great, and I will keep reading it. Whether it ends next chapter or in 50 chapters.
Yeah, I've got to agree with these guys. The main problem with Project: Horizons is that it just... Dawdles. Badly. It's really well written, except for the fact that there are really long stretches that could easily be summed up by saying "Blackjack bitches for days."
I will keep reading it foreveras
I would!
1945010 Everything you've written is 24 KART GOLD BABY, you write it I'll read it!

Yes, yes indeed... I just got sick of it after a while. And I'm glad everyone feels that way, I just didn't want it getting bloated and make people want to stop reading.
Project Horizons is... a special case. As in, it's up to 1.3 million words, and at least 60% of it was unnecessary. On top of that, the chapters average 25-35,000 words each later on. Wandering Moon is nowhere NEAR that bad, and frankly it probably never will be.
Just because there are 70 chapters doesn't mean it's a bad thing. They're relatively short ones, and the original FoE was above 600k words. Assuming your chapters stay at about the same length they have been, you probably won't even hit 300k words before you're done. If your readers can't bear with you for that long, after already reading this far... I'll just say that the problem isn't the story, and leave it at that.
I'll read it.
Keep it coming
I'll read it... so long as they go to Zeta at one point. and the Pitt. and Point Lookout. and somehow they both fit in the Anchorage simulation chair...
do you think I'm joking?
I'll read it. Quite frankly, I wish the chapters actually lasted a bit longer on average!
Go right ahead
I prefer long stories, so please continue. In fact, this information actually makes me quite happy.
I'll defenetly keep reading it even if it will be long, but just promise that you will actually finish your story.
It's OK.
I would keep reading, I think so far that its to short.
good work by the way
Mmmmm you could use all fallout dlc´s and then put some equestrian chapters and your done! And if you see that it gotted many views and followers then make a sequel about the hardships and live in Equestria with sara.
I enjoy this story and would gladly continue to read it. It´s fun and intresting to see how Luna & Nim change the events of fallout 3.
As long as you keep writing, I'll keep reading.
homestly man, if your work keeps the quality its had over all the stories youve posted, ill damn well keep reading.
Don't end your story to accommodate the readers. End it when the story needs to end. The readers will read regardless.
