"So Chuck," I hear you ask, "What have you been doing with your time, apart from flipping burgers and accusing valued-yet-unnamed members of the FIMfiction community of misconduct?"
Good of you to ask. Well, I've been writing! I currently have the first drafts of another Gilda and Trixie adventure, a Shining Armor/Flash Sentry grooming session leading into clop, a blackly comic clopfic with Trixie, Blueblood and two unlucky nobles, and a half-baked first draft of the SpikeMac I've been writing on and off for the better part of the year. Also, plans are in the works for a new blog outside of FIMfiction, where you'll get all my gloriously sloppy analysis without the strictures of FIMfiction's otherwise excellent blogging rules. Which is fantastic, because I've been bursting for ages to tell you exactly how amazing RagingSemi is and why you should read all of his stories.
Speaking of people you should be reading: Alara J Rogers is incredible. Her characterisation of Discord especially, but really of the entire mane six plus Celestia, is some of the best I've seen. I cannot recommend her work strongly enough. Negotiating Terms, Hit Me, and the incredibly dark Discord in Hell (Not Literally) are great places to start. Go there. Now.

Good to hear from you again, Chuck. Definitely looking forward to whatever you've got in the works. Guy-on-guy isn't really my thing, but if it's you, I'm more than willing to skim over the squishy bits.
