Thank YOU for 200 Followers! · 10:10pm Feb 24th, 2014
I'm going to level with you guys. No "true believers" or any of my usual shtick. I enjoy that, but this feels like a moment deserving some sincerity.
Somewhere out there in the world are 200 people that have read what I've written thus far, and said to themselves, "I want more of this."
It's pretty awesome, and I feel accomplished. Not the fastest rise to 200 followers by any means, but I've worked hard for every single view, follow, thumb-up, favorite, and feature. 200 Followers feels like a serious accomplishment, and it's pretty cool. Thank you, to everybody who reads my work. I sincerely never expected to be here, sitting somewhere in the middle to upper echelon of the fimfiction community, and it's cool that so many people are enjoying my textual ramblings enough to come back for more.
I can't claim all the credit, of course, because I've never been alone in this journey. I've had loads of friends backing me up and helping me improve and putting out the word about my work and stories. They all know who they are, and I've mentioned them all enough times that I don't feel it necessary to go through naming them again. Without their contributions to my stories, I'd have never gotten quite as far as I have.
So, to the 200 people who will see this appear in their feed: What's next?
Red Wings has a chapter being edited. You'll be seeing it soon-ish. Been a while, right?
The Final Push is rolling along, and we're coming close to the final stretch of the story. I hope you all have been enjoying it, especially the 204 of you that went and read chapter 15 for some inexplicable reason without reading any of the other chapters. What's the deal with that?? Must have been my blog linking to that particular chapter. Please go check out Chapter 1, I swear that Chapter 15 makes way more sense in context.
The Sound of Diamonds' next chapter is in the planning phase, so we'll see where I'm at with it in a week or so.
I've got an incoming commission piece for my 200th Follower, Avox. Thanks Avox!
Finally, I'm still trucking away on my Rarity one-shot story, so we should be seeing that soon as well.

Oh, and Red Wings is a good story...
I mean who does that!? Right? Freaks like that are only one further sign of the infection this whole "Brony" thing really is. Humanity can't survive it I tell you!
This comes as a surprise to me, because I feel that 200 followers is a meager number in contrast to the writers/users that have upwards of 500-1,000 followers (I currently have 218). You've made me stop and think about my "status" on the site, and I thank you.
