Maternal Instinct Chapter Twelve nearly done. · 3:20am Feb 17th, 2014
I'm glad to let you all know that the next, long-awaited chapter of Maternal Instinct is very nearly and done and will be ready to be sent off for editing tomorrow. With that in mind, Chapter Twelve will hopefully be posted sometime this week.
I apologize to you all for how long it's taken, but for me, writing in general has been going at a slow pace. I wouldn't necessarily call it a writer's block, rather a shortage of inspiration. Once the next chapter is uploaded, I may take a brief respite.
Anyway, I hope this is welcome news to all followers of Maternal Instinct.

That certainly is welcome news! I eagerly await the next instalment.
As far as the respite goes, by all means please do! (As if you would need my permission...) Hopefully you will be able to recapture that spark of inspiration; I would be greatly disappointed if this interesting story were cancelled.
Please do not stress out too much about the story to the point where writing ceases to be fun and instead metamorphoses into a a dreary, burdensome duty.
Early warnings! All hail the early warnings! Why? Because I'm going to do all my final tests in about two weeks, and those are everything but stupid multiple choice tests. If I fail those, I won't graduate. Not that I will fail, but still. This is followed by the official end of my school time in May and the last tests in June (yes, it's stupid like that). Then, slowly, I'll be forced to open my mind to the wonderful world of work... or universities.
