Good News, Bad News (But mainly good news) · 12:12pm Feb 15th, 2014
Hey everyone!
Gosh, I haven't shared anything in a while, have I? I've been super busy doing stuff, and, y'know, trying my best to cope with school and such.
Lately, I haven't been doing all that well. My condition is becoming worse and worse. Every other day, I'm almost too scared to go to school, because my fight or flight response is taking over. I've been mired in self-inflicted stress for so long that I'm kind of losing it. It's for that reason that I haven't been able to write all that much, which sucks. It also doesn't help that I'm associating Traveler's Exile with that period a little bit, so I'm not exactly looking forward to writing it all that much anymore...
It's for that reason I've decided to put it on hiatus for now. I don't know when I'll pick it back up again. I'm just really not feeling it in regards to this story. I had it planned to be a super exciting, funny, insightful story, but the execution is just falling flat on its face. But don't worry, I'm going to do something else in the meantime! I'm currently writing a fic about Coco Pommel, one that I'm sure people will like. It's a bit in the same vein as My Little Changeling. With different characters, of course. And don't worry, it still involves changelings, just not as much. Writing is super slow right now, but it's making progress. I hope I can get something up by the end of the week. Perhaps I'll write some short stories in the meantime as well.
In other, way better, way cooler news, I'm going to BABSCon!
Yup, I'll be in San Francisco during 18-20 April, talking to people and having fun and stuff. I was invited by the staff itself! How cool is that? I'm currently even working on a panel about changelings, together with a few other guys (more info on that when it's set in stone), which will be super cool. I feel incredibly honoured that I was considered to be invited (especially considering it's really far from where I live), and I'm going to do my best to make it an awesome experience for everybody! So if you want to see me blather about changelings and being... well, me, you should come! It's going to be awesome.
Yay! We can be online panels buddies! I'm (hopefully) off to the UK bronycon, and have been invited to be on a panel for military bronies!
Wish I was able to attend, was invited as well but because I live in the UK, getting to San Francisco is too expensive :/

Dude, You are awesome, and I will wait all the time in the world that it takes for you to get settled and find your stride again. Keep calm and canter on! Good luck with dealing with school and your stresses, and know that while we may not all be there in person, we all have your back as internet friends! Your wellbeing and happiness is on our minds!
