The Best Laid Plans... · 5:16pm Feb 11th, 2014
Well, my dear readers, it has come time, once again, for another thrilling bit of news from the wild and untamed depths of my mind. The topic of the day is, unsurprisingly, my various tales and stories.
That being, I have made some long term plans in regards to them. And those plans entail finishing some of them. Now, this will likely incite some degree of displeasure in some of you, but it is a sacrifice that I am willing to make, and that I hope you will not be too upset with.
The following is a list of current stories that I will finish:
Fireflies -- I don't know how much longer this story will be, but I will finish this story, even if it kills me.
Imagined Parallels -- Like Fireflies, I don't know how long this story will be when it's done, but it will probably be shorter than Fireflies
Faster Than Light -- No bloody idea. It really depends on how much I feel like writing. I know the general plot I want to follow, but it's still unclear how long I want this one to go.
Fireflies: Dimensions -- This is going to be relatively short. The actual story is going to be over just a few days, and I probably won't do more than a few chapters per day. Expect less than 20 chapters, here.
The following is a list of projects that are started, or that I intend to write.
Project Sinking (Comedy/Clop) (Semi-Collab with DarkWing) -- This is a one shot. Any further description would fail to do the story any semblance of justice. Suffice to say, it's a monstrosity. I don't... I don't even...
Project Skunk (Comedy) (Request) -- Two chapters, about 10K words. I have a goodly portion of this story actually done, and I plan to have it up within the next week, or so.
Project Fragment (Clop/Romance/Adventure-ish) (Fireflies Universe) -- Probably going to be about the same length as Fireflies. No spoilers, though, so just keep waiting. This story will also see spacecowboy getting a wish of his fulfilled in regards to the Fireflies universe (I eagerly await your jokes, SC.).
Project HiE SI (Slice of Life) -- A real, proper, self-insert HiE. That's right, boyos, I'm going to Equestria. No idea what I'm going to have happen, but I'm going to react to it all as I think that I would.
And, really, I think that's everything that I have planned. All other stories, posted or not, have no guarantees of being finished. Not out of spite, but because the ideas behind them no longer appeal to me as much as they did when I started them. Sad to say, but I don't think I'll ever finish the Nameless Romance Series that started my career. That's not a promise, but I just can't see myself finishing it.
That's all for now, since I think I've given you all a bit to think about. Or, perhaps, not. I can't predict what I'll think about something, let alone what you will all think.

P.S. All the projects are unnamed as of yet, so if anyone would like to make suggestions, I'd be more than happy to hear them.
