Hiya everyone. I've just spent the last little while putting together a group called The Canterlot Archives. The group has this objective:
The purpose of this group is to find fictions that make us as readers amazed or in some way astounded by literary works and to give a reason as to why they do so. In the event that a work does not do so, we'll talk about why they did not make the cut.
Perhaps you have read a story that gave you that feeling of awe and you wanted to share that with others. Or perhaps you think that your story has what it takes to make others experience that sense of awe. Well, all you need to do is submit that story for review by our Scrollmasters. Our Scrollmasters will choose fics based on their preferences and then write a recommendation or a rejection and their reasons as to why.
Over time we wish to create an archive of fictions with review that gives reasons for why you should read those fics. Not too many of the fics are going to astound us, but those that do are going to be good. Regardless of whether the fic makes it in or not, our Scrollmasters will provide feedback.
Basically we are making a list of stories that inspire us. Not only that, but you'll be able to find a story that you think might pique your interest, then you can go to our master list of recommendations and see why one of our reviewers recommended it. So if you have a story that you think might do the trick, add it to our submission folder, at least one of us will give it a read and provide feedback. The only conditions are: It must be complete. No Mature Sex, or Mature Gore stories. And no stories that belong to any of the reviewers. And one person can only add one story at a time. If you have a story in queue, wait until it has been dealt with before adding another.
I hope this group takes off, and we can form a group of highly recommended fics. I look forward to writing reviews of stories on a regular basis.

Interesting. I like the sound of this group already. I can think of two or three stories I could submit right now.
Actually, I can think of a bunch... but I'll limit myself to two right now. An old favourite and one I only recently read an wished I'd read sooner.
Edit: Oops. Shouldn't have submitted two at once. Bit trigger happy there.
It sounds like a really interesting idea. I'll try and follow this closely.
Joined the group and added three stories to the submissions folder, o great and wise group admin! May they be observed and critiqued with dignity!
So yeah, decided to join the group, and went ahead with adding a few suggestions to the submissions folder.
