New Story: Sweetie Belle: The Future of Friendship Enforcement

Okay, it's finally up! (link here: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/148730/sweetie-belle-the-future-of-friendship-enforcement ) I know I've not done any writing since, wow, May (a double-whammy of depression and work, really) but I said I'd help out Knighty's charity drive in aid of Kidscape. You can find the details to that here, I think donations are still open, but it smashed past the $5,000 target, so a huge well done to everyone involved!

This is the story I read out on the livestream, with help from Arcanium. I was dreadfully nervous as I don't really rate my reading voice very highly, but people seemed to have fun (mostly down to comedy accents I think) and the stream didn't evacuate! Sadly the next reader who was up had an amazing voice. I am told mine was 'amazing' but for different reasons.

The story was originally going to be more pirate based, but I ended up not including any actual pirates in it, though pirate-themed activities do provide motivation. It's very much a story that explores Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo's friendship, under the lens of Robocop. There's a new Robocop film that's just come out! I am sure it will be awful!

The story was also mostly structured around the fact it couldn't end with Sweetie Belle stabbing Diamond Tiara in the neck. I like to think I got around that in an amusing and safe-for-work manner!

I enjoyed writing that though! I will do my best to clamber back onto the bandwagon!
