Aegis Shield's Audio Book is done! :D · 10:05pm Feb 6th, 2014

Yup. It's all done and posted up now.

"Searanox the Feared" is a swords and sorcery book that I've written, had turned into an audio book, and posted on youtube. It is 18 parts long, between 25 and 40mins for each part, and I got a really nicely-voiced gentleman to do the voice work (I hate how I sound on microphone). My marefriend did some excellent artwork for title cards, and after some months of posting it up a bit at a time, its all done. (Some people don't like to listen to audio stuff bit by bit, they insist on waiting until its done-done to listen to it all the way through.)

Anyhoo. Its not pony but you might like it for background noise, if you're into high fantasy, dragons, and seriously crude humor. Have a link!

...and now back to your regularly scheduled pony. My Clockwork Stallion chapter soon to come.

P.S. My family is helping out a bit with my expenses to get to BABScon! Things are certainly looking up in that department!

I suggest trademarking your story if you haven't already.

Well this looks interesting. But is there going to be a way to download it? Because as much as I love audiobooks, I'm rarely at my computer when I'm listening to them.

And I'm curious, what's this "D&D Stories" stuff on your channel all about?

1803775 Via youtube's ToS, anything you post with entirely original content (including music and images, 100% original) is yours.

1803776 Being that I went to school to be a Literature Teacher and I've done stand-up comedy in front of crowds of 500+, I became very good at oral story-telling. D&D Stories is me telling stories about Dungeons and Dragons games, RPG's, and other fun stuff like that. Its mostly me sitting in front of the camera, talking. But people seem to like it a lot, I hit 1600 watchers recently.

I love high fantasy! It's kinda my thing. I'll be checking this out tomorrow, when I can find some free time.

This looks like a great story, and I am a fan of your writing, but not so much audio books in general. Is there anywhere on the internet to get a written-down version of "Searanox the Feared"?

Hey, COOL! I'm definitely going to give this a listen!

1803776 youtube downloader then convert to audio. just a thought.

Yeah, that's what I ended up deciding to do, but it's more convenient when there's already a file sitting around waiting to be downloaded.

1869905 could try ask him in a PM. Maybe...
