Horray! I have new story posted! It’s not my usual genre, but I have a good reason for writing it.

Lullabies Unsung
Given the topic, I feel a little background is warranted. A while back, a member of my extended family found out she couldn’t have kids. I won’t go into further details.
It got me thinking. How would the Mane6 react if they found out they were sterile?
Other stories have explored immortality, alicorn ascension, superpowers, even death, but not the inability to create life.
While outlining, I posed the question to a number of MLP fanfic authors.
The variety of responses I received was fascinating. Especially from the few authors who have dealt with infertility themselves. I stored them in a document which itself makes for an interesting read. Most agreed with my assessment, while a couple had their own takes which were just as feasible. I think it proves how well-rounded the girls are as characters.
So thanks goes to those who sent me back a response. They know who they are.
On a final note, I started writing this story before the comic, An Apple Without Seeds came online. All my pre-readers sent it to me. I even contacted the artist and we had nice conversation.
