Now, let's get down to business. After two years and three months, Spiders and Magic: Rise of Spider-Mane has approached the fifty chapter milestone. Holy smokes. Can you believe it? That's insane. Usually, some writers give up after a while. I can't give up. Not now. The story's grown too popular, the readers have been amazingly supportive, the main pairing has become a thing, and there's art. So yeah. I'll be damned if I quit. I can safely say the end is near. After chapter fifty, there will be eight-to-ten chapters left. Let's ride off into the sunset, folks. It's been one HELL of a run. Now. Let's talk House of Parker. Quite a bit has changed since we last talked about it. Let's discuss it. As you know, House of Parker will be a AU sequel to Spiders and Magic: Rise of Spider-Mane (a spin-off, if you may). The idea? Peter and Twilight warm up to the idea of forming a herd. Nine mares will join, and everypony will live under one household. Twilight will be the Alpha-Mare, the one Peter trusts the most and holds the closest. So Twilight's spot is secure in the herd. Who will the other nine mares be? That's up to you, my good readers. You all have been keeping up with story. Each mare has their reason for loving Peter (some haven't been revealed yet, like Pinkie Pie, Octavia, potentially Sunset Shimmer, and Princess Celestia). Although do you think its a good idea to allow the readers to vote for somethng that changes the story? I think it should just be the writers that chooses that. If we just vote for them, there be no suspense on figuring who is going to be picked when the story is bieng played out. Although you can do whatever you want, I think it just should be you that decides, it might be better for everyone else.

All of them have pretty good reasons, so I believe that all should join, it COULD work, as long as Peter loves them all equally, and they only have to do the mommy daddy dance, to make foals, after all, it's just a part of love, and love can exist in a relationship without it, when you compare it to other values like companionship... Plus, if it's hilarity you're after, all the mares can play their special part, plus, with the obvious main characters easy to describe and who will still be in the story, regardless of being in the herd or not, it still doesn't leave a lot of room for the background characters to develop and grow alongside Peter..., so well, you have my reasons, so, hope this helps...
Oh, yeah, and why is Parker's coat still white, and his eyes still brown? I thought that after the 7th homecoming chapter, you changed his appearance back to light brown mane and coat, with blue eyes?

1779111 The only reason why I switch Derpy out.... well, she's already a mother. She she likely already has a special somepony, but still greatly admires Peter, perhaps more were she not already with somepony. At least, that's my opinion. (that, and I'm a shipper of Derpy/Time Turner a.k.a. Doctor Hooves XD) Plus, I've been helping proofread, and know some of the moments to come with Luna.... I won't spoil such, but I like what's been discussed in regards to her, and thus, more reason for me to want her included.

1778423 Heh. You REALLY don't like Peter's look. The light brown coat and brown eyes are the ORIGINAL idea I had. When the first artist drew him, with the dark brown coat and blue eyes, that wasn't supposed to be Peter's look. Canonically, Peter's ALWAYS had brown eyes. So, I'm sorry. Peter's look now is what I always wanted it to be.

What do you mean by that exactly? Peter's new coat is white, not light brown, it doesn't even look close to what you described, plus it doesn't even look natural for him, when you compare his old pony self to his human self in terms of his hair and eyes. I think the blue eyes would be better for him, because if he was brown, whether the same color for both mane and coat or lighter shade of brown coat and darker brown mane, he wouldn't look so monotone.
Also, sorry I couldn't help with the picking of mares for the herd, it's just that I feel like how Twilight felt during "The Ticket Master", there's just not enough spots for everyone, and they all have good reasons for wanting to be part of Peter's life. Plus, after I read this, that night I had a vivid dream of Peter's 1st son, Peter Pony Parker the 2nd, writing a book about his father, and the various mares he had in his herd, not 10 but all 15 of them and even a couple new ones that you didn't mention, how his relationship with them developed over the years, the kids they had, all the changes he made in the world, both as Spider-Mane and himself, as well as the inception of the Parker breed of ponies...
