So we've got something different going on at the public server, 108.24.174.72:25565 (vanilla clients running 1.7)
I've been part of this thing called Blue Vanilla, a modding project. Did some neat stuff for it.
Well, there's a new angle for 2014. Dungeon building! You get a huge stone box and fill it with whatever. My brother's idea. He supplied the empty box.
I figured out stuff about how you'd make 'vanilla-like' dungeons, but honestly at this point ANY dungeons would be cool. Turns out these boxes are, um, big

Those are types of cavern or space inside boxes of stone (so you don't have to fill it in, or not as much). Carving out is quicker, though blasting with TNT is one way to deal with the 'solid rock' boxes provided. The little shape icons? That's a map renderer program. The shapes are made out of glowstone. That's how big the boxes are.
Me and Zobrux will probably be trying to do stuff with these, but if anypony else wants to show up, pick a box and start doing stuff, feel free. Or just look at the huge giant caverns. It's creative mode, so if you can't see, grab a night vision potion 
I'm actually pretty damned tempted to join in on this. Problem is, I hardly play vanilla minecraft XD Too used to my Redpower logic blocks and Buildcraft pipes. Hmm.. Might give it a try though.

we've already found one pony playing the public Nightmare Moon server and took him home with us to Trixieverse Builds.

Right now, I'm exploring ideas for 'ways the giant empty amphitheaters can be cool discoveries even if they're not filled with fancy builds', but fancy builds would also be good. Thing is it's gotta be loot-less to fit with the Blue Vanilla project. But that's not to say _I_ won't do more elaborate things…
If you go and start making stuff (in creative, remember) put signs on your giant block! That way I'll know someone started.
