Hello my readers, awesome and amazing.
Well, Dazhbug, you know the hyper-wizard awesomeling who gave us this little slice of magnificence, recently promised to do a banner for me to put on my user page.
Well, with one thing and another--you know how life is--he didn't manage to do it in a while and by way of apology[1] he sent me a piece of art he says he did as a scribble in a spare half-hour. Of course it's wizardry. So, without further ado I give you:
Yes that is Dotted Line as a foal. The Artist's preferred title is "Mom, mom, we learned about diplomatic relations with Griffonstan today!!!" which I think is rather fitting.
[1] Though why he thought he needed to apologize, I'll never know.

I think it's meant to be general shagginess rather than whiskers as such.
Actually, it just now dawned on me that Spike and Dotty would get along quite well. Hm.

Spike and Dotted Line would get along quite well because Dotted Line is in many ways like Twilight, very focused and bookish.
I know I recently compared Dotty to Big Mac but I think that still stands as well.
You know, this makes me think of what Dottie was like as a teen. If he was as dedicated to his family as he is to Celestia, his mother was one lucky mare (which appears to run in the family,as he would not have survived his chemistry degree without some large portion of luck too).

Specifically it's a doctorate[1] in chemistry. His work was that of a propellant chemist in rocketry and his thesis is "On the Inhibition of the Catalytic Decomposition and Corrosion of Red Fuming Nitric Acid in Long-Term Storage Scenarios."
Just in case that image leads to some more ideas.
[1] Yes, that makes him doctor Dotted Line. He doesn't use the title for the same reason he isn't Lord Line. He really doesn't like them. It's a foalhood thing. Northisle natives don't believe in titles.
