I can't be the only one, can I? (Spoilers of today's episode)

I can't be the only one who thought of this, can I? I know it's a bit self-centered to compare a character you write with one on the actual show, but I just saw SO many similarities between the two.

Oh by the way, another fantastic episode. This season is seriously so far turning out amazing, I've really enjoyed each episode.

I, too, was reminded of Exit Through Canterlot. I just love it when the show does stuff like the fanfics. It reminds me how close the fanfic writers can get.

I haven't read very much and it's been a while (god, I need to go back to it), so my memory about her appearance is a bit fuzzy, but is that the mare that is the assistant to the other bitchy and rich mare in an earlier chapter of Exit Through Canterlot? The one, who assists Octavia in her vandalism? If yes, then... Yeah, I immediately thought of her, when Coco appeared (and that, while not having read ETC for a while).

Due to this, I don't think it's so self-centered. If I, as a rather casual reader, noticed the similarity immediately, it would have been weird if you, as the writer, missed this.

You know, It's nice to hear someone else enjoying the season. So far, all I've heard in my groups is "Bats! Was terrible." "Power Ponies was disappointing." "Castle-mania was terrible." And so on.

Though I must admit, "Twilight is most useless princess" is becoming an issue, and they're seriously flaking out on friendship challenges. First it was royal obligations for Twilight, then it was a job offer for Rarity in Manehatten, both of which could have elicited feelings had they not been immediately resolved or ignored.

I did think of the comparison. The two characters certainly share similar roles in both stories, though I'm not sure if they're that similar really.

That was exactly my thought as well! I know the "henpecked assistant with huge undiscovered talent" is an old meme, but I couldn't help but think "I need to tell Brian J DHX ripped off their characters!"
