Temporary hiatus due to intense course

I have tried taking it with a positive view, but considering the circumstances, I might have to put writing and drawing away for a few weeks. I didn't think it was going to be so time consuming, but the course is an intense 12-weeks course compressed into 6, and the physical training I haven't done in probably years. My classic "I will run when they come lookin' for me"ideology is taking its

As if I needed more reasons to be a slow writer

I've always had reasons to not write/draw while following a specific schedule. Most of them being:

    -Gaming like a mofo.
    -Exhausted from house chores.
    -Simply not feeling like it.
    -Lack of inspiration.
-Friends come to visit (extremely rare)

Why I seem to be dead around here these days

I've seen a lot of blogs these days commenting about fake suicide notes and stuff like that. Not a pretty sight. I was going through a bit of an ordeal myself, but I didn't feel like bothering anyone around here with it, so I moved forward. Anyway, that's not the point of all this, but it's true that the idea of being called out because of all the ones posting lies for attention really didn't

    I draw (horribly) too!

So, after almost a month full of delays and mishaps, I was able to get my tablet. Suffice to say, I wasn't an outstanding artist before I got this thing, and getting used to it (and learning how to use it) takes time. Ever new drawing shows that I'm slowly adapting to it, but I still was a mediocre artist when I started. For any of you interested, there's actually a comic I'm working on that

I just had the best Xmas gift ever · 2:59pm Jan 3rd, 2014

Today I expected it to be a normal day, and instead I got a Xmas gift that came to be one of the best things ever.

I tagged this blog entry as related to "The Lovers' Edda," because the gift has to do with it. More accurately with an AU story based on it. I was waiting for it to get the cover art before posting it. And then the Xmas gift came. And almost so did I as well.

Lo and behold!

The fic's been submitted, and it shouldn't have problems getting approved for you to read it. Up until then, I can't thank enough my big friend/reviewer maskedferret for getting me this outstanding gift. Credit for the drawing, however, goes to MischiefLily. You can find the original here and you can commission her if you need to. She's an awesome artist as you can see, and she's taking commissions if you need some of those.

Now I leave again, to drown in Xmas joy with this amazing moment.
