Merry Christmas to you all. (+little Remnant info.) · 11:05pm Dec 23rd, 2013
I’m not sure what there is to say about this story in particular, other than it being something I wanted to write for my watchers in the spirit of Christmas/Holidays.
It was done in collaboration with another artist friend of mine, he sang a song for it, but problems arose, and I had to get creative.
Is it a story that will make you cry? Maybe, maybe not; read and find out.
A Swirled Moon
Furthermore I would like to thank all of you for a wonderful year, it sure has been fun.
I’ve also changed editors quite a lot, from Slashawar to Arbarano to Root Note, hopefully the latter will stay with me for a long while; seeing as the first two got busy with other stuff.
I’m working on a couple of projects as well, many smaller ones, and one rather big; with artwork and all that follows. If you want to get information particularly on that feel free to follow my Tumblr; it will be released when it is completed.
On the big project I have a few people with me to work with: Hathound is in charge of artwork, Enix is there to make sure it becomes an enjoyable read, Spectrum is in charge of explosions. (He does that a lot!) And of course Root Note for editing; also Arbarano when he has the time between those tedious finals and the sciency stuff he does. All which also are consistently giving me feedback on plot progression and such.
And I believe it will be a very enjoyable read for all of you, where we will meet Moxie and Athaal once more.
Then we got the thorn in my side: Remnant. I’m not entirely sure what to do with it, I keep telling myself that I will work on it, I just need to finish this other thing; then I find myself in another project.
One of the reasons is, I have concluded with myself, is that it is a large story written with canon characters. I personally feel much more in place when writing about my own characters and such. Which is why any story from me with canon characters is a shorter one-shot, I lose interest otherwise.
And all this while I really don’t want to let people down, I’ll figure something out I guess.
Perhaps outsource it to someone?
What do you have to look forward from me in the coming year? Well, a few one shots, that’s for sure, but also the big project.
Will I make you cry? Most likely.
Will I enjoy it? Oh yes, that I will.
I wish all of you merry Christmas and a happy new year. Or happy holidays if you prefer that.
And have the very best of time.
Cheers!
Ah, so you're considering putting Remnant up for adoption? Well I don't know if I'm good enough for that, anyway if you can't work on it anymore I hope you can find an excellent substitute, it's a very ambitious and engaging story and it deserves to continue somehow.
And merry Christmas again Kim, A Swirled Moon is the next story I'm gonna read
