Finally finished with The Cold of Winter

    WHEW!

I finally finished writing The Cold of Winter. Maybe it's a little bit ironic, because Springtime is now in full swing where I live. So, if you're interested, feel free to check out that story to see how it ends.

    New Closing Theme!

The Doctor Whooves series now has a new set of titles, and a new closing theme, and accompanying video. It's a mix between a custom vortex (used in the titles) and the 1980's Doctor Who starfield. The 9th Doctor's face appears much like Tom Baker's and Peter Davison's did back in the 1980's out of a group of stars. The theme tune is a mix between Murray Gold's 2005 Doctor Who theme and Peter

How long does it normally take you to make one of those intros? You know, putting the pony had there and switching the title. They're very well done.

A few hours, depending on if I've already got the pony head image to begin with.

What I do is make a series of images with the pony head (or logo) with a blue background, and animate them to make a video clip. I then put this into the main video (usually a clean (no episode titles) version of the 1980's Doctor Who intro) using a bluescreen effect.

Same goes for the TARDIS in the 9th Doctor sequence and the various logos. I use existing footage (vortexes created with a "credit me if you use this" basis) and bluescreen the things I need over it.

1642837 Well It's very impressive. You should be proud of yourself.

Thank you!

1642842 I'm a film-maker myself so I can appreciate how difficult it can be. By any chance, would you be interested in a Doctor Who collab I'm putting together?
