    Holding My Hat Out

For those followers, young and old, I bid you welcome. Sorry for this blog post as it's mostly asking for money.

I've republished an old fiction of mine that had been deleted years ago. this time I decided to give it an editing pass, some rewriting, and help from a friend; Silver Scroll.

    Well now...

Now that I've been so rudely had my morale boosted from having a story in the featured box, and have done my 9 hours of work, I suppose it's time to start responding to all these comments.

    Still Alive

Just wanted to put myself out there and to tell people, I'm still participating in fiction. Even some non fiction work such as reviews and the like. The thing is, the past two years or so have been eventful, but in sometimes subtle ways. For the longest time I thought my internal battles to be useless effort from someone who cannot even manage a single task without aggrandising episodes of self

    Hello out there!

Is there anybody here that still believes me alive? Please let yourself be known! I would love to talk to you!
I do have some stories in the works, but I have honestly no feedback from the people that follow me (all 29 of you).
Be it questions, concerns, or anything. Please do not be shy.

    A co-opted fiction involving Scootaloo!

Those who loved Blue Trimmed Icarus, I'm tagging this post for a reason!

I've written a fiction along side a very good friend of mine, Xl9! It can be found here.

If you enjoyed Blue Trimmed Icarus, then it's very likely you'll love this little fluffy story involving Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash.

Naming Perspective · 5:05am Dec 16th, 2013

Because it is my name! Because I cannot have another in my life! Because I lie and sign myself to lies! Because I am not worth the dust on the feet of them that hang! How may I live without my name? I have given you my soul; leave me my name! ~John Proctor, The Crucible by Arthur Miller

A little melodramatic, but it's the quote that came to mind right now.

Now, the purpose of this blog is for a naming. See, A Littler Perspective may be slightly fitting, but I think it's also misleading for the style of story that I'm planning for it. People look at the title before they look at the tags or the description, and some may be put off thinking it some mediocre slice of life story (Like Blue-Trimmed Icarus for example :P ) when it is, admittedly, a little different. A little unique.

But it's unique in a way that I'm at a loss for what to really call it. On what to really name it. I'm addressing the few people that follow my stories and that follow my occasional blog to please help me come up with a suitable name for this fiction. Please, list your ideas below.

And here's a picture that I like. No reason.

I don't actually have an idea for you on what to call it just yet. :derpytongue2: I just wanted to pop in here and comment. (Without offering an actual suggestion, sorry.:raritydespair:) I think you are right to change the name and make it more dramatic because of the kind of story it is. I really liked the title "Blue-Trimmed Icarus." I think that one is your best title yet. ("Blooming Faith" is also a very good title because it plays on the name of Applebloom and tells the reader right away that there is going to be some character development in this story.)

I really like a good title. Even more than a good cover. In fact, I once bought a book just because the title grabbed me. (Turned out to be the best book I read that year, and I knew nothing about it going in.)

I think one-word titles are boring, even though I like quite a few stories with titles like that. ("Eternal", "Awakening", "One" etc...) I like story titles that are whimsical, or centered around a powerful word. For instance, each of your titles have a "heavy" word in them: "Life," "Child," "Faith," "Icarus" ... These are words that draw the attention because they carry a lot of weight.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing what you come up with, and where your story goes next.
