Updates: On the season, the next chapter, the bible thread and future fics · 7:10pm Dec 15th, 2013
So, I thought that I'd give some updates on what's been going on recently.
First of all, I've been doing a bit of petsitting which means that my schedule alters a bit. That can take some getting used to, but mostly it seems okay.
My current petsit that I've basically just started has uncapped internet, which is useful (especially as I need to buy some more internet anyway) though it means that I have to do some file transferring, which I haven't got round to yet. I've still managed some editing, but I have more to do.
I'm currently writing chapter 5 (and shamelessly taking advantage of the new season, despite the jossing), and editing chapter 2. I hope that people like the results.,
On the latest episode, I liked it overall. I wish that Scootaloo finally got her cutie mark there though. Oh, well.
Over at the Truthseekerverse group (which needs more members and discussion), I've recently done some updating, including the promised pyrripi and the non-pony races (admittedly rather brief for now, but we're still expanding).
Also, I pointed out there, that I need to start thinking more about the next fic in the series, which I'm currently intending to be: The Last Use of Antlers. I was originally planning on having the members of the Mane Six visiting Deerope as ambassadors/judges to be Pinkie and Rainbow. It was more recently pointed out to me, that Applejack would do a better job than Pinkie. Which ... I have to confess is a good point. That said, it IS a festival, Pinkie's magic would be nice for Equestria to showcase and it might be fun for her to stir up some trouble. So ... the question is, do I stick with the original plan, switch Pinkie for AJ, use both, or throw in everypony including Fluttershy bar Twilight (she's not allowed)? This fic will draw some inspiration from The Moonstone Cup, a rather well-known fic, but will go in a different direction. But yes, this is a festival/political rally/competition of might and magic for the Cervids and they use judges and medics from tribes around the world. Aside from the Mane Six, Star Swirl the Hundred and Forty Seventh will be there. I'm also seriously considering making Lyra Heartstrings and Spitfire judges as well (there'll be lots). Any thoughts? As well as anything else you'd like to see there?

I see no reason not to let all of them come as long as you can work them into the story. I can see reasons for any of them wanting to go. Not necessarily have all of them as judges if you don't want, but they could all have reasons to want to see it.
Oh, and why m I now picturing Pinkie constantly coming up with more and more convoluted and insane ways of trying to sneak Twi into it so she can watch with them?
