FINISHED! · 12:45am Dec 7th, 2013
After a year (almost to the day) since I first posted "Hot Heads, Cold Hearts and Nerves of Steel" I finally finished. Epilogue is posted and I've hit the 'Complete' button.
S'been a heck of a ride with that story. Thanks for joining me through it.
A special big thanks go out to me pre-readers/proof-readers/editors/critics and most importantly, friends: Meadowshrine, Chengar Qordath, Comma-Kazie, Ponibus and Jake the Ginger.
Thanks to all my readers and reviewers too. Happy holidays and hooray for new episodes!
Well done!
...So... What's next for you?

Good stuff, man. While half your characters were painful to read, it was a nice addition to your verse and decent reimagining of canon. But really. I wanted the foals to get eaten just so they would shut up.
This was actually the story that introduced me to the Dashverse; good to see that it is finished so I can finally see the end!
(In the meantime I've read some of the other stuff that I probably should read first)
It was amazing, wonderful and fifty different flavors of awesome! Looking forward to whatever may come next!
Huge kudos for embarking on such an ambitious project and finishing it. I quite enjoyed all four of the stories you wrote in this AU.
This and Rainbow Triumphant will probably be the last two Dashverse stories I read. I can't fully explain it, but by the end of May the Best Friends Win, I've grown progressively less enthusiastic about this AU. Frankly, I'm eight chapters behind on Hot Heads, Cold Hearts and Nerves of Steel as it is, and I've only read the first chapter of Rainbow Triumphant, so I'd say I lost interest a long time ago.
That's not to say that the Dashverse isn't a great AU; far from it. The premise is intriguing, the entire world as far as history and characters is remarkably well thought out (though I find a couple details, events and character portrayals all too irksome), and the writing is great. Rainbooms and Royalty was fantastic and remains one of my favorite Fimfic stories. But sadly, I'm just not into this story series anymore.
It's been fun, mate! Here's to many more.
It's been an amazing ride Trinary! I love everything you've written with the Dashverse, I love this alternate reality as much as the canon timeline. I'll certainly be following you for wherever your writting takes you next!
The winningverse tie ins are great too :) Love it!
