My Thoughts on "A Brother's Fury" · 3:08am Dec 6th, 2013
Sometimes, stories aren't really stories at all, but other scenes taking place at the same time as other stories. It may have no bearing on the world, nor change anything in the forefront-- but breathing life into the world's background makes it all the richer. A Brother's Fury is about Shining Armor confronting Celestia when he learns exactly why Twilight is being sent to Ponyville. Its short, a little more than 2,000 words. But, I enjoyed the tension and easy sway of angry emotions that went through this.
A quick and violent spark of a story like this is reaaaaally showing me that thejboy88 has some serious budding talent. Have a look for yourself and tell me this author isn't going places. I look forward to seeing more of his works, if he can make a scene crackle like this. Don't just read. Feel it. Its warm to the touch, I feel the heat of the scratching quill here. Can you?

~Aegis Shield
Nah, I'm good.
The Horse is with the young Skywalker. But he is not a Jedi yet. Much hatred do I see in his soul, yes. We shall send the young one to Aegis Shield, where he shall be taught the ways of the Horse.
