Well, I am officially ensconced I think. I have posted a chapter other than my initial dump, I have stories that I follow, stories to very definitely NOT follow, and a pleasant spot of comment based dialogue. So, what am I posting here? A couple of announcements.
First, thanks to anypony and everypony who comments on my works in any way, shape or form. Comments; be they feedback, criticism, suggestions, jokes, offers of sexual congress, aspersions on my ability at sexual congress or anything at all, they are my pay off for every chapter. They are my crack cocaine. In the days following a published chapter, I will obsessively click on the notifications button several times a day just to bask in the warm glow of comments. Yes, I'm a whore, get over it. So if you like my story, chuck a comment my way, much in the manner you chuck a few coins at the feet of the beggar who just danced for you (normal people go around paying beggars to dance for their amusement right?). Please. I have a habit to feed.
Secondly, SLaTFAtP is nearing it's ending and climax, and I only hope that the last few chapters (no idea yet on precisely how many) amuse you all. So, where do I go from here? Well, I'm very excited about a new project that has taken over most of my mind in recent weeks. It will be a more dramatic work, and a bit more grimdark. Let's just say I'm holding off on reading any war based fanficitons until it's underway and planned out (yes, this one I am planning the whole story from the beginning, unlike SLaTFAtP, which is planned maybe a chapter in advance if it's lucky), just so I don't lose sight of my own story every time I read some other writers awesome idea.
Thirdly, those new to my works my be unfamiliar with how long updates take. It's a while. SLaTFAtP requires a very specific mood to write, and that only coincides with me having free time once in a blue moon. The last chapter was written in only two nights of actual typing, with the rest of that three weeks being devoted to study, work, social life and military exercises. Hopefully this new project, being less comedy oriented, will be easier to stick to a schedule with. I'll have to see.
