Well, Cloptober has come and gone. Time to report in.
In the strictest sense of the word, I failed. The challenge was to write 50,000 words of smutty ponyfic. I managed a grand total of: 22,569 words.
Still, 22.5k is more words in a month than I have written in a long time. I'm lucky to manage a chapter a month lately. So in that sense, I call it a success.
Anyway, as I mentioned in previous blogs, this was all for a brand new story, which I will be working on alongside HMSS, and plan to see both to completion. Look for it soon!

Excited for it all the same! Can't rush quality work, in my opinion. ;P
One has to inquire was 50k a truly attainable goal anyway? That sounds like a number if you really get into a story with few distractions in that time period. That sounds to me like an exception rather than the rule anyway.
22.5k words in a month is still pretty damn impressive.
But one has to wonder, is that what you'll be posting or will you be finishing 50k for a smut story and posting the whole thing?
And for that matter, what ponies could possibly be smutty enough for 50,000 words?

Haha, well, fortunately, it wasn't required as part of the challenge that it be 50k words of pure porn; just 50k words of a story that had sex in it. And I managed 22.5k of a story with sex in it. As for which characters are getting sexy, you'll see soon enough.
Ooo, based on your other work I'm definitely looking forward to this. How about this hint: Is it in any way autumn or halloween related?
