Given the choice... whether to rule a corrupt, and failing empire, or to challenge the fates for another throw, a better throw, against one's destiny... What was a king to do?
But does one ever truly have a choice? One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars.
Just contemplating more ideas along the lines of the Legacy of Kain series... Is it just me or is it REALLY easy to envision Sombra in the role of Kain, an Emperor desperate to avert the fate of his Empire crumbling out from under him, and he starts messing with fate, time, and destiny in his efforts to do so?
Dude. Have you heard Raziel's theme? I know you're thinkin' Sombra as Kain, but man, does it fit him well.
Actually, now I kinda wanna listen to whole soundtrack again...
Sombra is far more fitting than Celestia.
As for Raziel, I remember in Reality Check´s Nyx´s family Sombra employed all the few pegasi of the Empire as his Royal Guard. Thus, make him a casted down pegasus, with his wings broken and mutated.
