Well, Point of No Return is finished, revised, and that's all folks.
So, now, about them Dumb Luck...
My last blog post posed a question for the next pairing: Rarity with Celestia, Fancy Pants, or Fleur De Lis? Surprisingly (to me), everybody skipped Celestia entirely and I got votes for Rarity with BOTH Fancy and Fleur. My first response to this was "Guys, this is not a clopfic, I'm not doing a threesome", but then it hit me.
I've had, and still have, two goals with Dumb Luck: 1. Making crack pairings work. 2. Showing different kinds of romance each chapter. And while there's many kinds of romances to go still, that suggestion would be perfect for touching on one of everyone's (least) favorite romance tropes.
Still, I really like the idea of Rarilestia, so I'll offer some basic plot synopsizes here.
The Rarilestia one will be a Prince and the Pauper type story: Rarity works up the nerve to tell Celestia of her dream of nobility, and the princess doesn't like this idea at all. She tries to convince Rarity that nobility have a surprisingly hard life, and to prove this point, suggests that she and Rarity swap places, with Celestia leaving a way for Rarity to contact her just in case something goes horribly wrong. Rarity is too proud to use it. Hilarity ensues.
The other one, inspired by comments suggesting both Fancy and Fleur: Rarity leaves Ponyville for a week on Fancy's invitation, as he and his wife both quite enjoyed Rarity's company in their last meeting. The problem is, both of them have some secrets involving Rarity they're willing to share more than Rarity wishes to deal with them! The mood would be... Not darker, but more heavy than most chapters so far, and much more serious than Filly Love was. More on the lines of The Princess and the Knight, but slightly more so. And, well, love triangle.
But - but it doesn't have to be a clopfic to feature a polygamous relationship.

I'm not going to give a big speech on how polygamy is wrong, because I don't think it is. However, I've never seen or heard of a polygamous relationship that didn't end in tears and hard feelings all around. Every single person I've even met who was in one would swear up and down that "This one is different" and "We all love each other, it will work!" The longest lasting ones I've ever seen were ones in societies where it's the norm, and in those it involves a lot of backstabbing and positioning for more influence, more like politics than love. All the rest? Lasted a year, tops, before their romance and friendships were utterly ruined. That's really, really not an option here. Sorry.

Though, IRL Stallions do end up with harems of Mares in alot of situations, so it might be more justifiable or otherwise possible in this situation unlike in human relations. Of the choices you've laid out though, I think the Rarilestia would be the most entertaining, even though I'm not in anyway a fan of the ship.

It's not quite that. Horse herds operate with the stallions just being for defense and breeding. Mares tend to pair off together to raise foals. It's less a harem of mares for the stallion, and more them keeping the stallion around for convenience.
The Rarilestia option definitely seems like it could have a great deal of entertainment value.... so I'm going for that one, as long as the next one is Fancy/Fleur/Rarity story

The rarilestia one has a prince and the popper feel, which could lead to some good humor. I would have to go with this one, not to spite polygamous relationships, but because i feel this would add more comedy to the story without it becoming a little sad as you said the fancy and fleur one would be.

I don't really care for either pairing that much, since Rarity isn't one of my top three favorite ponies, and if it's not Twilight being paired with Celestia or Fleur, it kinda just turns me off. But, if I HAD to pick, I would go with Rarity x Celestia (I refuse to write the paired names as one word; it looks horrible). It's pretty much already a landslide vote, so it doesn't matter, but that would be my choice.
Yeah, I never got the notice for this blog... I don't know... I hate to be 'that guy', but BOTH of those sound great! xD If you really want me to, I can flip a coin to decide, but I like both ideas... Sorry to be so worthless afterall...

Also, I have a completely original ship that I don't believe anybody else has yet to try and I believe you're quite capable of pulling it off. Ready, the ship is TrixiexZecora. I think one could get quite a few laughs and touching moments out of that pair.

Celestia is bestia! Honetsly, I'm laughing at nothing more than the potential of the jokes in that one.
I'm certainly fine with the love triangle thing you got going, but Personally I find there's enough darker and edgier stuff in my "to read" list. That won't stop me from reading/loving it though, I just love a good comedy.
