Imagine a reality where every great story from the Victorian era, to the modern day was real. Then imagine if all those characters and adventures existed in the world of My Little Pony. A universe where throughout time, there have been hundreds of heroes and legends and tales of great adventures. The great cowcolt called Marsh Tone (Red Dead Redemption) who lived and died to see his family have a future. To the tales of Captain Nemo (20 thousand leagues under the sea) who created a machine called a submarine. The funny pony in the blue box (Doctor Who) who only ever called himself the Doctor. The legend of the Dark Knight (Batman) who protects the streets of Manehatten. The myth of the lost child of Nightmare Moon, and the story of a pony who was invited to a martial arts tournament (Enter the dragon) on a mysterious island.
This is the Carnageverse. A world where nothing is as it seems. A universe where the Assassin's and Templar's have been at war for years. A world where the tale of Celestia and Nightmare Moon may not be as accurate as it first seemed, a world where heroes and villains from all eras constantly find themselves at odds. This world may have pure carnage descend upon it any moment, but there are many who will try and stop that till their last breath. These are the stories of those heroes.

The stories are listed chronologically. All stories have been written so you do not have to have read any others unless the author has stated that this is not the case. However, references and links to the other stories will be made.
The Following stories happen between season 2 and 3 of MLP: FIM.
After losing a good friend who will no longer remember him, an incident in the TARDIS causes the Doctor to get stranded in a parallel universe. But instead of just another parallel earth, he finds himself in the world of Equestria where ponies rule. While the Doctor tries to get his head around the concept of magic, and Twilight sparkle tries to understand the TARDIS. A disaster occurs when the Doctor inadvertently reveals a terrible secret, and an old foe from the Doctors past will try to take over Equestria. Leaving only the Doctor and the elements of harmony to stop them.
Note: This is one of my earliest stories and has a number of grammatical errors. If average to poor grammar bothers you, I would recommend skipping this one.
Kingdoms come and go, civilizations wither and die, and time delivers us all to the same end. History has shown this is often the case, but there are always those who seek to prevent this by any means possible.
Equestria has existed for more than a thousand years having faced civil wars, secret invasions, alien threats and the wrath of gods. After several recent attacks on the country, faith in the monarchy has fallen to an all-time low. On top of that, an ancient enemy threatens to not only destroy Equestria, but the entire planet as well. It would normally be up to the elements of Harmony to prevent certain destruction. But what if the threat was something that threatened to undermine the monarchy if its existence was known, even by the elements?
There is only one option, a new team must be formed, a league if you will.
The powerful, the odd and the downright bizarre are called together to prevent a catastrophe that doesn't just threaten Equestria, but the entire world. And at the same time they must prevent a thousand year old lie from being uncovered that threatens to destroy Equestria from it's very core. But can a group of such volatile individuals coexist? Or will their inability to trust each other lead to the downfall of all?

Rainbow Dash is many things. Mainly awesome. But romantic, certainly not. Of all the ponies who would attempt a forbidden romance, nopony would have thought she would.
Now she finds herself head over hooves in love with a mortal enemy of the country. On top of that, she has to face the one group of ponies she's terrified of rejecting her new found romance. Her best friends.

Could I read "How to Tell Your Friends You're Dating a Changeling" without reading "The League Of Extraordinary Ponies"? Or is it too heavily connected to do so?
