Sometimes it's hard. Sometimes it's hard to find all the time in the day.
You see, I suffer from a slight disorder. It's called procrastination. But you see, it is procrastination in the severest form. No, it isn't even procrastination, I rescind my previous statement. Because, even procrastinators get their work done, right?
I suffer from apathy.
The reason I don't get things done that I'm supposed to get done isn't because I'm lazy. It's because I grow so very tired so very quickly, and I cannot find the determination to do one set thing for a prolonged period of time. Let me explain my situation:
Imagine a child in a candy store. This child might keep coming in for one particular piece of candy for a short period of time. Is it his favorite candy? Not necessarily. There are many different candies in the store that would suit him just fine. But this one is the one he wants right now. Eventually, he will grow tired of his fix and he will find a new candy to satisfy him. His behavior will continue to repeat in this fashion.
Now, do not confuse this with boredom. There are times where I want to write. Now is not one of those times. There are times when I want to study. Now is not one of those times. There are times when I want to run. Now is not one of those times.
Right now, I just want to sit.
It is not a good time to be doing this.
And that is my problem.

but because if you do your entire life will be just a little bit easier.
No one wants to do boring silly stuff, and everyone, at one time or another, finds the things they enjoy boring and silly sometimes. But we have to power through anyway. Because if not, there's just a lot more work to do later.
But if you find that everything feels colourless... it might not be simple apathy you have. And I hope to all the deities that it isn't anything worse.

1374658 Usually that is food. If I do anything else, I become lost and I get wrapped up in it and can't turn away from it.

And it isn't that I find studying completely fruitless or boring. It's just that I go through stages of determinism, and right now I'm just focused on something else when I shouldn't be.
