I've just submitted a story collection, called The Poly Little Pony. The cover art, above, is a ponification of my (and Dr. Pastern's) favorite Little Golden Book, the Poky Little Puppy. It is another effort to gear me up to finish my bloody damn novel, HUMAN in Equestria.
I'm still recovering, and getting back into my novel is difficult for some reason. But I keep getting ideas - I always get ideas - and so I decided the best way to get back into the swing of things is to indulge my creativity. Thus the last two blog posts, and now this.
The Poly Little Pony contains both new and old stories, and will be an ongoing work. I will add to it now and then, as short stories hit me. The first story in the collection is utterly new, having been written yesterday and today. The other stories are a mixed bag - some have never been seen anywhere outside of Google Docs or my own computer, a couple have been part of the collections of other folks. I wanted to have all my works in one place, just to keep track of them. I get forgetful.
Chances are you will find things you've never seen me do before. There are bawdy tales, comedic stories, and one tragic one. There will be more to come.
And hopefully, doing this will get me up to speed so I can finish my novel.
It's a plan - first a blog with art, then a written blog, and now a story collection. It's like scaling up to the big show, finishing the novel.
This is the first time on Fimfiction I have ever done this, by the way. Normally I always work on only one project at a time, until I get it done. It's a rule of mine to assure I complete things. One thing that pisses me off is writers who don't finish a story I like. I never want to do that.
But I need to get writing again, and I am not in form to finish such a complex novel. This is medicine.
Fear not. I will finish HUMAN. When I can.

Also, recuperation are to be taken slowly, so write at a pace you can feel free from pressures and obligations. Keep going Chatoyance, and always remember that there's people cheering for you!
