Kung Fu Panda with Elements of Harmony

I've finished reading the Kung Fu Panda fanfic "A Different Lesson" and now that I look back at Po and the Furious Five, I can't help but try and assign the Elements of Harmony to them. Of course, as seen with the tale "Rainbooms and Royalty" as well as the Cadanceverse tale "The Music Of Ponyville" (which I haven't read yet at this time of writing), the Bearer of Magic doesn't have to be the leader.

Master Monkey - Laughter [I could've assigned this to Mantis as well, but…]
Master Crane - Loyalty [I had the hardest time justifying this, though. I figured that he he demonstrates loyalty to his team by being the mediator so that he would not be forced to choose sides.]
Master Mantis - "Magic" (Chi) [Mostly, his medical knowledge, as well as events covered in the fanfic "A Different Lesson".]
Master Viper - Kindness [Averts the Reptiles are Abhorrent trope.]
Master Tigress - Honesty [She's rather blunt with her words.]
Dragon Warrior Po - Generosity [As the "team cook" and his general behavior, I figured this was most appropriate.]

I've had the idea once, where Spike and Po either switch bodies (similar to the 'troll-fic' about Lord Shen and Fluttershy), or physically switch universes.
In the mean time, I do have a story that takes place in a setting part of the KFP-universe inhabited by alternate versions of MLP characters.

That's a pretty good match-up list! Awesome!
I tink you did a good job in picking the different elements for each Kung Fu master. Here are my thoughts on each one:

Monkey as Laughter- Totally agree! I mean, he is voiced by Jakie Chan (the master of combining Kung Fu & Comedy) after all.
Crane as Loyalty- While you may have a hard time justifying it, I find it very easy to believe, based on some subtle observations I made.
Mantis as Magic- I never would have thought of that, but makes sense when you think about it.
Viper as Kindness- *SQUEEEEE*
Tigress as Honesty- Not only is she more honest/blunt herself, but she also tries to get others to be honest too, as seen with Po in KFP2.
Po as Generosity- Awesome! Ska-doosh!
