Well hey there everypony. Jeez it's been a while, but I'd like you all to know that I am actually still alive.
I feel utterly horrible for leaving all the followers of Never too Shy to Love hanging for so long (over 6 months!!!), but I've been plagued with such horrible writer's block, I've not had any motivation or anything to do any writing at all for the longest time. I had some post-Ponycon withdrawals and sort of drifted away from the fandom for a while, but now I'm back and in the swing of writing again. I know I've not really ever given anyone here a reason to trust my word on anything at all, and I have said this before, but I'm flying through the fifth and final chapter of NtStL now and will have that out as soon as I can. I really mean it this time. I actually wanted to have that out on my birthday (September 5th), but that didn't end up happening. It's turning out to be a longer chapter than I expected, but I truly do mean it when I say it should be out within the next week or two.
It's a bit of a long and complicated story as to why I had writer's block, but the basis of it is that I didn't want to start any more projects before I finished Never too Shy to Love, but I had absolutely no idea where I was going to go with that, so it never really went anywhere. It sort of spiraled around in a loop until I didn't feel like writing anything at all. Also, I apologise if five chapters seem a little short, or if you guys want more than that, but even though I could probably drag the story out for a couple more chapters at least, it'd just feel as if I were flogging a dead... well... you know how the saying goes. Anyway, I've got the rest of the chapter all planned out, and all that I need to do now is finish writing it and proof/edit it.
As far as future projects are concerned, I haven't actually made any decent start on any of them, but I've got a new trilogy in the planning stage that I'm gonna start writing next. It's gonna be a series of three (duh) long multi-chapter stories about some pretty cool stuff that I hope will engage you and everyone else as much as my attempt at romance has. I want to start doing something I should have been doing when I began uploading fan-fiction though, and that is to write at least most of the story before I begin uploading. That way, I can upload regularly (I'd say probably once a week), and if I have a slow week or something and don't get much writing done, there'll still be something for everyone to read. The drawback of this though, is that after chapter 5 of NtStL has been uploaded, I'll probably disappear again while I get the first of these new stories written. It'll be worth the wait, I assure you.
TL;DR - I was gone, now I'm back, but once I upload the last chapter of 'Never too Shy to Love', I'll disappear again for a bit while I write a new epic story for you all to enjoy and love and salivate over and share with all your friends and everyone you know.
