It turns out the next chapter I post of Tastes Like Heresy won't actually be the final chapter as I'd promised. Instead, I'm cutting what was heretofore one final chapter into two parts. This means that the upcoming chapter will be a bit on the shorter side, but I feel that it flows better this way. Also, this means getting the next chapter out a heck of a lot earlier than it would otherwise, and I've left you guys hanging on that front long enough.
Speaking of which, I'm giving myself a deadline. This chapter will be finished and ready for posting by the end of next week. This means finishing the chapter, and re-editing the earlier ones for egregious overuse of onomatopoeia. I'll leave my favorite bits intact, but I think it could do with fewer unsound effects in places.
As a side-note, anyone interested in doing some prereading for me should hit me up so I know to share the GDoc with them when it's ready.
