Some of you might have noticed that I posted an introduction to the Royal Ponyville Orchestra and left it up for all of twelve hours before unpublishing it.
Why did I do that?
First, I had always wanted to have some sort of introduction to the story that gave a few hints about later events in the story. It was to serve as a teaser of sorts. I also thought it might help to make the whole thing with Luna on Day 10 a touch less jarring (Although there are references that Tavi had met with Luna before in Days 1 and 2, they just aren't obvious. I might fix that later).
Second, I felt I needed a short little update as Day 11 is moving slower than I would like now that school has started. I want to get this next chapter off the ground, advance the story and keep embarrassing Octavia. Failing that, I thought it would be nice to give you a few hundred words as an introduction, because who doesn't love reading a good introduction?
But, responses have been negative, and most people found the introduction to be unnecessary. I can see their argument, and I have decided to temporarily unpublish the introduction until I have something better to give you all. Hopefully the wait isn't too unbearable, I know it is pretty bad for me. Anyways, if I am VERY good, Chapter 11 should be up by the end of the weekend and the TaviScratch shipping will continue. Also, there might be something about an orchestra thrown in there. Who knows?
